  • Patent number: 8359929
Abstract: A surface mounted instrument (20) that is easily installed to seal (110, 120) against a mounting surface (150) in spite of imprecise installation of a standard rough-in box (145) or irregularities in the surface. A cover plate (60) overlays the installed instrument housing (10) without the use of outwardly visible mechanical connectors by use of a pawl (65) that engages the housing. An oversized display (50) is mounted for easy replacement on a moveable display module (45) for unobstructed access to the interior (35) of the housing. Subsurface channels (90) formed in the housing are used to deliver a working fluid from a measured location to a sensor (85) inside the housing.

  • Patent number: 8325491
Abstract: A device for fastening an electronic module on a mounting rail and an electronic module fastened with the device on a mounting rail are provided. The device has a displaceable nose, encompassing a profile of the mounting rail together with a stationary nose provided on the back of a housing of the electronic module. The displaceable nose is configured as a clamping profile of a slide. By plugging in mechanical anchorings, the device is mounted in recesses of the housing on the back of the electronic module. The device has a spring mechanism provided to support the electronic module on the housing. A clamping force of the device on the mounting rail results from a force to the slide applied by the spring mechanism. An end of the slide opposite of the displaceable nose protrudes beyond the housing of the electronic module for the manual displacement of the displaceable nose.

  • Patent number: 8270173
Abstract: An electronic device includes a chassis, a cover on the chassis, a fixing member fixed on the cover and a handling member. A pair of latches are arranged on the chassis and each define a latching hole. The fixing member includes a substrate and a pair of side plates each defining a locking groove. A pair of catches extend upwards from the substrate and each define a locking groove. Cooperatively the locking groove and the latching groove forms a closed groove. The handling member includes a pivot received in the closed groove, and a pair of shafts in the guiding grooves. Firstly, the handling member rotates around the shafts to cause the pivot to engage with the latch, and then rotates into the aperture around the pivot to cause the shafts to move upwards to make the cover moving relative to the chassis to lock with the chassis.
