The circuit board is mounted to the bottom surface of the channel. A panel of light diffusing material is suspended over the LED array between the opposing side walls of the channel. The light diffusing material is configured to have lenticules that run parallel to the alignment of the LEDs. The lenticules vary between regions of the panel. Light emitted by the LED array passes through, and is diffused by, the lenticules. The result is a uniform patch of light that does not have bright areas or dark areas.

The light fixtures according to the present invention can have lenses and diffusers over the arrays arranged to mix and disperse light from the light source to reduce or eliminate hot spots and to reduce or eliminate the appearance of the different LED colors. A plurality of first diffusers are included, each of which is over a respective one of the LED arrays. A second diffuser is included over the first diffusers, with the LED light passing through the first and second diffusers prior to emitting from the lighting fixture.

    Abstract: An LED light bulb device including a bulb body, a cap, an LED assembly, and first and second light affecting features. The cap is mounted to the bulb body for connection to an electrical socket. The LED assembly includes a plurality of LEDs and framework. The framework maintains the LEDs relative to the bulb body such that emitted light is directed at an LED region of the wall. The first light affecting feature is associated with the LED region of the wall, whereas the second light affecting feature is associated with a diffusion region of the wall, with the diffusion region being apart from the LED region. The first light affecting feature affects light in a manner different from that of the second light affecting feature. The light affecting features are selected to affect or alter light emitted from the LEDs to provide a desired Kelvin color temperature and diffusion.

The hollow diffusing portion is protruded from the center of the end wall of the LED substrate housing in a reducing pattern. The embedded locating portion is formed externally onto the diffusing portion, and can also be embedded securely into the hole of an existing shell plate. The diffuser allows one to assemble a single or several LED units, thus reducing the manufacturing cost and realizing excellent waterproofing effects, while enabling partial replacement or maintenance of LED elements. Moreover, since the outer diameter of the diffusing portion is smaller than that of the LED substrate housing, a smaller hole area for assembly can be obtained.
