The light coupler includes a light coupler body having a lower portion received through the countertop bore and an upper portion resting on the countertop about the countertop bore. The water drain pipes passes up through a bore formed through the light coupler body, the coupler further having a light-transmissive portion coupling the lower portion with the upper portion. Light from a light source located proximal the lower surface of the light coupler body lower portion is admitted through the lower surface and transmitted up through the light coupler body and out the upper surface to the sink basin.

The top opening encompasses a marker light that visibly alerts a driver to the width of the vehicle. The vehicle illumination assembly of this invention may include a guide member that connects to a base member attached to a vehicle bumper. The separate guide member rotates around its longitudinal axis to direct light into a variety of directions, selectable by the driver from within the vehicle.

    Abstract: A recreational or competitive flying disc includes an illumination system employing an array of flexible optical fibers to distribute the light of a single light emitting diode (LED) from the rotational center of the disc to its outside periphery. A small water-resistant compartment centered on the underside of the disc houses the LED, battery, and the illumination control. The leads of the LED also serve as the contacts of the battery. One end of each of the optical fibers is embedded in the LED, and the other end extends radially from the central housing on the underside surface of the disc to the rim of the disc. Also, the spot-like light source and the light conductive member contact tightly with each other eliminating a clearance therebetween so as to improve light utilization efficiency. The frame and further the whole apparatus can be compact while maintaining a high accuracy.
