Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a circuit for detecting a TMCC signal. Using this method and circuit, as long as there is a synchronizing signal of the TMCC signal found in the ISDB-T signal received by the receiving device, the TMCC information can be collected from then on. Thereby, the delay time generated each time when the receiving device switches channels can be effectively decreased.

Abstract: The state of firmware for devices on a provisioned host machine can be validated independent of the host CPU(s) or other components exposed to the user. A port that is not fully exposed or accessible to the user can be used to perform a validation process on firmware without accessing a CPU of the host device. The firmware can be scanned and a hashing or similar algorithm can be used to determine validation information, such as hash values, for the firmware, which can be compared to validation information stored in a secure location. If the current and stored validation information do not match, one or more remedial actions can be taken to address the firmware being in an unknown or unintended state.

Abstract: A method of managing lip synchronization error in a multimedia content delivery network includes identifying a video packet and an audio packet associated with the video packet and determining a synchronization offset between the audio and video packets at a first monitoring point in the network. The audio and video packets are then detected at a second monitoring point in the network and a second synchronization offset is determined. When a delta between the first synchronization offset and the second synchronization offset exceeds a threshold, lip synchronization error information may be automatically recorded and/or reported to a service provider and corrective action may be taken if potential sources of the lip synchronization error are within the domain of the service provider. The video packet may be identified by a timestamp within the packet and the audio packet may be identified by audio data within the audio packet.

Abstract: Provided is a radio communication base station device which can prevent lowering of use efficiency of a channel communication resource for performing a frequency diversity transmission when simultaneously performing a frequency scheduling transmission and the frequency diversity transmission in a multicarrier communication. In the device, a modulation unit (12) executes a modulation process on Dch data after encoded so as to generate a Dch data symbol. A modulation unit (22) executes a modulation process on the encoded Lch data so as to generate an Lch data symbol. An allocation unit (103) allocates the Dch data symbol and the Lch data symbol to respective subcarriers constituting an OFDM symbol and outputs them to a multiplexing unit (104). Here, when a plurality of Dch are used for a Dch data symbol of one mobile station, the allocation unit (103) uses Dch of continuous channel numbers.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, apparatus and system for obtaining key information during fast channel switching. A fast channel switching request sent by a terminal is received; at least one data unit bearing key information is generated according to the fast channel switching request; a fast channel switching response message is sent to the terminal, where the response message carries an identifier of a first data unit bearing the key information and the number of data units bearing the key information; and the at least one data unit bearing the key information is sent to the terminal. When the key information is lost, the key information is retransmitted without a need to perform status maintenance, which improves scalability of fast channel switching.

Abstract: A cellular communications system is described in which a mobile cellular device can, if necessary, obtain cell measurements for cells contained within a first cell list after it has received a second cell list. The mobile device then reports the cell measurements for cells within both lists so that a best candidate cell is less likely to be discarded in a cell handover procedure. A network node is also disclosed that can receive cell measurements for cells within a first cell list after the node has issued a second cell list. The node then uses the received cell measurement data to control a handover procedure.
