Abstract: Various embodiments provide systems and methods for supporting synchronized delivery of packets of different type media streams of a service. Various embodiments enable wireless device and/or network assistance of packet synchronization in downlink (DL) and/or uplink (UL) transmissions.

Abstract: A multi-view display controller (100, 200, 300) generates view information specifying view directions along which media data a media content is to be projected on a multi-view display (2) and specifying a selected view direction along which additional information is to be simultaneously projected as media data of the media content. The multi-view display controller (100, 200, 300) thereby enables an intuitive and efficient communication of additional information to the viewer (5) on the multi-view display (2).

Abstract: A receiver device to receive an incoming radio frequency (RF) satellite signal from a satellite vehicle includes a processor and computer-readable storage media. The computer-readable storage media is communicably connected to the processor and has instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to track the incoming RF satellite signal in code phase and carrier frequency, the incoming RF satellite signal having a primary pseudorandom (PRN) code and a secondary PRN code modulated thereon, generate an encoded sequence of dot product values of adjacent integrated in-phase (I) and quadrature-phase (Q) components of the incoming RF satellite signal, compare the encoded sequence with expected secondary code chip transitions, determine a secondary code phase for the secondary PRN code based on the comparison, and coherently integrate the secondary code phase with the incoming RF satellite signal to increase an integration interval.

Abstract: Bordering pixels delineating a texture hole region in an image are identified. Depth values of the bordering pixels are recorded. The depth values are automatically clustered into two depth value clusters with a depth value threshold separating the two depth value clusters. A subset of bordering background pixels is identified in the bordering pixels as those with depth values in one of the two depth value clusters that is declared as a background depth value cluster. The subset of bordering background pixels is used to predict texture hole pixel values in the texture hole region based on multiple candidate prediction directions. Quality indicator values are computed for the multiple candidate prediction directions and used to select a specific candidate prediction direction for filling in final texture hole pixel values in the texture hole region of the image.

Abstract: An online system logs information describing presentation of content items, such as actions performed with presented content items or descriptions of presentation of content items, and uses the logged information to recommend other content items. Because of a large amount of information describing content item presentation, the online system samples the information and stores the resulting samples. To improve accuracy of the sampling, the online system adapts the sampling rate for different types of information describing presentation of content items based on amounts of the different types of information received during a specific time interval.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for transmitting/receiving a media transport stream by using an internet protocol (IP) based transport system are provided. The transmitting method includes removing some data from media transport stream to be transmitted; configuring at least one entry box including information for reinserting the removed data into the media transport stream; configuring a media data (mdat) box including the media transport stream from which the data has been removed; and positioning and transporting a compression information box including the at least one entry box before the mdat box.
