Patent number: 5941640Abstract: The bladder includes two sidewall portions which are disposed opposite one another. Along a majority of the perimeter, the first and second sidewalls are joined together so as to form a body defining a containment area which is substantially enclosed by the sidewalls. One portion of each of the two sidewalls is not joined with the opposing sidewall so as to form a bladder with an opening along one portion thereof. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the sidewalls of the bladder form a body, and a neck which extends beyond the unattached portions of the sidewalls. An opening is formed in a neck which extends from the body. The neck is open at opposing ends to thereby provide a conduit for placing fluids into the containment area of the body. To close the conduit formed by the neck portion, the neck portion is rolled toward the body. The rolled neck portion seals the opening closed and prevents liquid in the containment area from escaping out of the neck.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 1997Date of Patent: August 24, 1999Assignee: Ultimate Direction, Inc.Inventor: Bryce Thatcher

As a longitudinal thread and a lateral thread other than a pair of strip reinforcing sections, the conventional stretched tape yarn made of synthetic resin is used. In the longitudinal strip area for stitching the hanging unit, the longitudinal thread having the double-layer stretched tape yarn is used, whereby it is possible to increase a count to reinforce the flexible container. The hanging unit has a base or proximal end thereof which is stitched to upper portions of the respective strip reinforcing sections by a sewing machine thread.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 1994Date of Patent: May 21, 1996Assignee: Morishita Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Satoshi Kawafuchi, Minoru Ikeda, Hidemi Morishita

Patent number: 5468528Abstract: A bulk material transport bag has a plurality of sidewalls, a lower end wall, and an upper wall, defining a bulk material space therewithin. The surrounding sidewalls are formed by a panel of fabric, positioned at each corner of the bag, the panel of fabric formed into a right triangle, so that the first and second legs of the triangle form the outer wall of the bag at each corner, and the third leg (or hypotenuse) of the triangle forms the internal baffle wall of the bag. Each corner triangle is stitched to a flat panel of fabric, defining the remaining central portion of each sidewall, so that when the eight portions of fabric are joined, there is defined the enclosed wall of the bag, together with the baffles formed in the interior of the bag. The bag includes a plurality of rectangular or triangular shaped openings in each of the baffle walls for allowing bulk material to flow therethrough in order to completely fill the bag.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 1995Date of Patent: November 21, 1995Inventors: Daniel R. Patent number: 5458419Abstract: A flexible bulk goods container (1) with a container body (2), which can form a bulk goods accommodating space, is filled and emptied over a connector/outlet arrangement (3, 4), can be lifted by means of carrying loops (5) or the like and is preferably made from a coated basic weave, particularly of polypropylene that is electrically conductive due to integrated conductors. As a basic weave, a ribbon-like fabric is provided, in which, at a distances of not more than 30 mm in the warp or in the filling, a basic weave ribbon (6, 7) is replaced by an electrically conductive ribbon (8) of a plastic film material forming the electrical conductor, with a transverse extent corresponding essentially to that of the basic weave ribbon (6, 7) is substituted and/or assigned to the basic weave ribbons (6,7) in an essentially congruent arrangement.Type: GrantFiled: April 21, 1993Date of Patent: October 17, 1995Assignee: EMPAC Verpackungs GmbH & Co.Inventors: Peter Trepte, Josef Alteepping, Gunther Luttgens

Patent number: 5407111Abstract: An improved sports accessory bag with straps which are convertible for use either with a bar on stationary exercise apparatus, or for use as a portable accessory bag. A strap is attached to one end of the bag and a second strap is attached to the opposite end of the bag. A first separable buckle is used with the first strap for forming a first suspension loop. A second separable buckle is used with the second strap for forming a second suspension loop. The first female snap receptacle and the second male snap connector are compatible for connecting the two long free ends of the two straps together, so that the first and second long free ends will form a third suspension loop. The bag may be suspended from the first and second loops on a bar member on stationary exercise apparatus, or it may be converted to a portable sports accessory bag by connecting the long ends together around a person's waist.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 1993Date of Patent: April 18, 1995Inventors: Alan J.
