Abstract: A convertible carrying assembly has separable upper and lower sections, and a removable lower outer covering. The upper section consists of a small handbag with external fasteners for holding the lower outer covering and lower section. When disconnected, the upper section may be used as a handbag. The lower section includes a removable drawer-style organizer. Side panels formed from the outer covering may be unzipped to give access to the drawers in the organizer. If desired, the organizer may be removed for stand-alone use. The outer covering may be used as a stand-alone bag, or may be unzipped to form a flat surface that can be further used or folded for a variety of functions.

Abstract: A combined fabric wrap and carry bag is disclosed. The combined fabric wrap and carry bag includes a first piece of fabric and a second piece of fabric affixed to the first piece of fabric to form a first pocket. In a first configuration, the second piece of fabric inverts inside-out relative to the first piece of fabric to form with a portion of the first piece of fabric a carry bag into which a remainder of the first piece of fabric may be inserted. In a second configuration, the first piece of fabric may be spread out on a supporting surface.

Abstract: A rectangular towel that is converted into a gift bag using a removable stitch. Once the stitch is removed, the bag then reverts back to its original function as a towel. The bag acts as a presentation device for a variety of gifts including items such as wine, liquor, and coffee. Once presented the recipient can opt to remove the stitch with a simple act converting the bag into a towel. The towel has a variety of functions, which can include being bar towel, golf or sports towel, kitchen towel etc.

Abstract: A disposable tablecloth that can easily convert from a table covering to a bag for collecting and disposing of trash. The disposable tablecloth has a cover that can be made out of fluid impenetrable material, such as plastic, a fluid absorbent material, such as paper or cloth, or one or more layers of fluid impenetrable material and one or more layers of fluid absorbent material. The periphery edge of the cover has a drawstring cavity that can be formed by folding the periphery edge over on the cover. A drawstring is disposed inside the drawstring cavity such that it is suitable for securing the tablecloth to a table and for securely closing the bag. The disposable tablecloth is particularly useful for picnics and craft projects where the tablecloth can be used to gather and dispose of the trash.

The accommodating body has a rectangular horizontal bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and two side walls. The front, rear, and side walls extend upwardly from the bottom wall, are interconnected removably to define an accommodating space thereamong, and are removable from one another so as to be coplanar with the bottom wall, thereby forming a stretcher. The slings are fastened to an outer side surface of the front wall. The sliding plates are attached removably to a bottom surface of the stretcher, and contact the ground.

Abstract: The present invention is a beach accessory that combines a backpack and beach towel into an integral, unique product. The invention may also be used as an adjustable pillow for car and airplane travel. Fabricated from 100% terrycloth or velour towel and 100% cotton or cotton blends, the accessory is machine washable for easy care. The accessory can be easily unfolded to access the towel and just as easily refolded when desired. In backpack form, the invention includes ample storage space for personal items. An added feature incorporates a security pocket for the safekeeping of valuables. Adjustable straps are provided to ensure a good fit when the accessory is utilized as a backpack. The straps also function to secure the towel in a rolled-up configuration when employed as a pillow.

Abstract: An exercise mat ensemble for use in exercise disciplines such as yoga that involve floor exercises and positions. A vinyl padded sticky mat is covered with a sheet of washable absorbent fabric that overlays the sticky mat on all four sides. The fabric sheet may be extended at one transverse end with sufficient fabric that when folded over more than once it forms a cushion to aid in certain exercises and positions. When the fabric sheet is placed on top of the mat and the two are rolled together the fabric extension encloses the mat within the roll. The extension may also be stitched to form an envelope or stitched on each side to form channels into which drawstrings are placed, both capable of forming a case around the rolled mat and fabric sheet. A strap may be added to the ensemble to assist in certain exercises and positions and also to be incorporated into the rolled mat and fabric sheet for use as a carrying strap.

Abstract: A parade throw and its method of use are disclosed. The parade throw includes a bag having an open top and a contained support member that can be in the form of a disk, ring, or plastic “Frisbee®” like member. The combination of bag and support disk are assembled together. In one embodiment, the disk is hollow, providing a hollow interior or cavity that can receive substantially all of the bag for storage when it is to be thrown. The disk can be made of cardboard or other disposable material so that the user simply removes the internal support and uses the bag for storing articles once it is retrieved. At least one pivotable pocket suitable for use as a work surface may be included, together with at least one open configuration retaining unit. Also disclosed are methods of making a foldable bag of the type described above.

The straps on the backpack are made of a lightweight, thin material, allowing the backpack to be rolled into the compact configuration. A compressible storage bag is included in a pouch of the backpack, into which the rolled backpack may be placed. The storage bag may be tethered to the backpack so that it cannot be misplaced. In use, the storage bag is tucked into a pouch so that it does not take internal space in the backpack. When the backpack is emptied, the storage bag is removed from the pouch and the backpack is rolled or compressed into the compact configuration. The compressed backpack is then placed into the storage bag.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a multipurpose device that can be alternately configured to form a blanket, a cushion, a hooded poncho, a hooded poncho with a fastening shawl, and a tote bag. The multipurpose device includes a pliable sheet that can be configured for use as a blanket. The pliable sheet is lengthwise dividable into three sections, a first one-third section, a second one-third section having a middle and a third one-third section. The multipurpose device also contains a first attachment. The first attachment includes at least a bi-layer of material that form a first and second pocket and is attached to the pliable sheet near a first edge of the second one third section. The pliable sheet can be folded, preferably with the assistance of specifically placed securing devices, into the second pocket to form the cushion configuration.

The breast panels and upper back panels of the vest may be conveniently stored in a storage compartment located on the inside of the back panel of the emergency vest. Abstract: This invention is a portable container resembling a large purse or a small piece of luggage that might be carried by a person to transport any of a variety of portable items to an outdoor sporting event. The container or bag has a flexible strap to allow the the bag to be carried by hand or to be slung over the shoulder. The bag has two identical internal pockets that extend across the full length and width of the bag and are openable by a zipper or other quick opening closure. Internally of one pocket is a block of a foamed elastomer that completely fills that compartment and thereby becomes a comfortable pillow upon which the bag owner sits the other pocket contains a protective cape that is heavy enough to keep the wearer warm and sufficiently water resistant to shield the wearer from rain or snow. Preferably, the bag will be printed or otherwise illustrated with the logo of a sports team so as to identify the owner as a fan of that team.
