Abstract: A packaged oil delivery with integral flow restrictor including a dispenser assembly and a restriction assembly. The dispenser assembly includes a dispenser that is to be mounted on a mechanical system to enhance lubrication of gears, bearings, shafts, seals, and the like. As elements of mechanical systems often rotate at high/low RPM, the channels are intended to slow/expedite the speed in which oil is passively delivered onto the aforementioned components. The restriction assembly includes channels internally disposed within the dispenser to passively meter the flow of oil being expelled. The speed with which the oil is expelled from the inside of the dispenser is directly related to the length and pattern that the channel has.

Abstract: A sealing system includes a housing with an interior chamber, where the interior chamber includes a mouth. The sealing system also includes a seal positioned adjacent to the mouth of the interior chamber and a plunger configured to move through the seal and into the interior chamber along a longitudinal axis of the sealing system. The plunger is configured to deform the seal from a first position to a second position, where in the first position, the seal has a first shape, and in the second position, the seal has a second shape, different from the first shape.
Abstract: A computer implemented cache management system and method is provided for use with a service provider configured to communicate with one or more client devices and with a content provider. The system includes a cache hierarchy comprising multiple cache levels that maintain at least some resources for the content provider, and one or more request managers for processing client requests for resources and retrieving the resources from the cache hierarchy. In response to a resource request, the request manager selects a cache level from the cache hierarchy based on a popularity associated with the requested resource, and attempts to retrieve the resource from the selected cache level while bypassing cache level(s) inferior to the selected level.
Abstract: A rack and pinion steering apparatus (10) comprises a first bearing surface (38) that is formed on a surface (36) that defines a passage (24) in housing (12). An input assembly (120) that includes a first portion (124) of a control valve (132) extends into the passage (24) of the housing (12). An output assembly (80) that includes a second portion (84) of the control valve (132) is located in the passage (24) of the housing (12). A second bearing surface (96) is formed on an outer surface (94) of the output assembly (80). The first bearing surface (38) cooperates with the second bearing surface (96) to define an annular space (162) for receiving fluid and for supporting rotation of the output assembly (80) relative to the housing (12).
