Abstract: A bidet attachment for a conventional water closet. An open compartment is formed at one end of the water tank to receive a water mixing chamber which receives water from incoming hot and cold supply lines. The entry of hot and cold water into the mixing chamber is controlled by valve control handles on the side of the compartment. An outlet pipe extends from the mixing chamber to the overfill pipe of the water tank and is accesible so that the water temperature can be sensed by touching the outlet pipe. A hand held spray is carried on the end of a flexible hose which can be retracted into the compartment for storage. A control button on the spray head can be activated to divert water from the outlet pipe to the hose for application of a bidet spray from the spray head, with the toilet bowl serving as the bidet basin.

Abstract: A device for washing the posterior parts of the human body includes an electrically operated driving means which moves a nozzle means certainly either to a first position for washing the anal area or to a second position for washing the female genitals, independently of the hydraulic pressure used. The nozzle means can be shifted forward or backward from the first or second position within a given range according to the instruction from the user.

Abstract: An appliance for washing the posterior parts of the human body with water is equipped with an outer nozzle and an inner nozzle that is rotatable inside the outer nozzle. The outer nozzle is provided with holes, while the inner nozzle is formed with a plurality of sets of holes. Any desired one set of the sets of holes in the inner nozzle can be brought into registry with the holes in the outer nozzle by rotating the inner nozzle, whereby the area through which washing water is spurted can be varied.

Abstract: A compact and inexpensive hot-water washing apparatus for personal hygiene which is used for washing the anus or the like after depositing stool in a toilet. By the rotation of an operation shaft 41, the start switch 42 of a pump 27, a flow control valve 30 and an operating valve 35 interlock. The control of the flow rate of the hot water to be supplied to a nozzle 4 for washing the anus or the like and the use of an inexpensive non-self priming pump are enabled by providing a water passage through which the water sucked in from a low level cistern 6 is discharged into a hot-water tank 25 through the operating valve 35 by the pump 27, and a water passage for returning the hot water or water in the hot-water tank 25 through the flow control valve 30 to the suction port 34 of the pump 27. The action of a heat equalizing plate 52 prolongs the duration of hot water jetting of an optimum temperature.

Abstract: This invention relates to a sanitary cleaning equipment which includes a flushing portion adapted to direct a jet of cleaning water against a selected area, a deodorizing portion for withdrawing odoriferous air from the neighborhood of the selected area and deodorizing the same, and a dryer portion adapted to direct a jet of warm air against the area. The above deodorizing portion has a first wind tunnel including a deodorant and the above dryer portion has a second wind tunnel including a heater, the first and second wind tunnels being constructed so that they are selectively communicated with a single fan by switching operation of a damper device, thereby providing a sanitary cleaning equipment which is compact and has a high warm air blowing efficiency and a high deodorization efficiency.

The device comprises a heated water tank supplied with water from a flushing water reservoir, a nozzle arm connected at an end to the tank and rotatable between extruded and retreated positions at the other free end forming water ejecting nozzle, and means for controlling water-ejecting pressure to be initially low and gradually high enough for achieving desired washing.

Abstract: An accessory intended to be added to an existing toilet aids personal hygiene by providing a cleansing jet of either water, or water plus a liquid soap fluid, to provide a cleansing and washing action to a person following use of the toilet. Water plus a medicated fluid may also be provided to relieve discomfort from hemorhoids or other rectal ailments. An outlet head is provided with a venturi tube that draws the liquid soap into the water spray. A valve mechanism is provided to control both the water spray output and the secondary fluid output. In another embodiment, the hygenic cleansing jet is provided and a douche capability is also provided. An additional source of medicated fluid is connected for mixing with the water. In this embodiment, the valve mechanism employs a second internally arranged venturi tube which provides low pressure to draw the medicated fluid into the douche output. The douche embodiment can be further adapted for use as enema.

This bidet whose function is to spray one or two water streams of adjustable temperature toward the anus or the genital parts of the toilet's user when seated onto the toilet bowl, then to dry the so sprayed parts of the body by means of a reversible fan blowing air at an adjustable temperature, and to drive out of the room the polluted air and vapor structurally comprises a thin oval-shaped element that can be fixed to the toilet bowl between the upper periphery of the bowl and the toilet seat, and a casing of very small dimension that is rigidly fixed by its upper wall to the rear of the thin element and that extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the toilet bowl without overheighting the plane in which extends the toilet seat.

Abstract: A safety toilet seat comprising a cassette jacket type seat, a water transporting system and a controlled heating system whereby the cassette jacket-type seat is made as a jacket, the interior of which is filled with water which is kept warm by the controlled heating system. A spray nozzle is provided at the front and rear of the cassette jacket-type seat and in communication with the interior thereof. The warm water in the seat is sprayed via the nozzles to thereby wash the anus and/or genitals of user seated thereon.Conventionally heated toilet seats when used during the cold winter season are usually heated by means of an electric heating coil encased within the toilet seat. Additionally, if the toilet unit is equipped with a genital and/or anus wash washing unit, a second electric heating coil is necessary. Dual heating coils of this nature tent to waste energy, increase production cost and promote maintenance problems with respect to the toilet unit.

Abstract: An apparatus for drying genitals and the posterior parts of a human body after bathing by a bidet device comprises a fan to blow air for drying genitals and the posterior parts provided with electric motor means for rotating a fan, heater means for heating the air, and control circuit means for controlling the temperature of the blown air, said heater means comprising at least two heater elements, alternatively to one or two or more of which the electric power may be supplied, and said control circuit means comprising a thermostat to cut off the electric power supply to one of the heater elements in the heater means when the temperature of the blown air exceeds a predetermined value.

Abstract: A bidet attachment for use with a conventional flush toilet comprises a bidet tube having a bent handle portion at one end, an arcuate spray arm portion and attached spray nozzle at the opposite end, and an intermediate straight portion, together with a bidet tube support assembly which attaches to the underside of the toilet seat and permits the spray arm to be pivoted independently about first and second perpendicular axes. A warm water supply unit for use in connection with said bidet attachment includes an elongated vertical water storage vessel having a bottom inflow connection and a top outflow connection, a heater for the water in the vessel, a cold water supply line to the inflow connection, a water control valve interposed in said cold water supply line, and a warm water supply line from the vessel outflow connection to the bidet attachment.

Abstract: A rectal sprayer for use in toilets having a toilet bowl and toilet seat, which sprayer includes a spray deflecting member located at the side of the toilet bowl at a position to which a spraying head is retracted following use. When in the retracted position the spraying head confronts the deflecting member which is adapted to deflect water, sprayed thereat by the spraying head, back toward the spraying head to effect the cleaning thereof.

Abstract: A body part cleansing device for use with a toilet is provided. The device provides a jet of warm water which has been mixed with air to a desired body part of a user in order to cleanse the body part. The device includes a cleaning nozzle adapted to direct a jet of warm water in combination with air and includes a nozzle member, an injector member and a joint which are separably interconnected and which can be easily assembled and disassembled. By being so connected, the two members and the joint are satisfactorily aligned to provided a desired angle and direction of water jet for effective cleansing purposes. Air is mixed with water within the nozzle member, air being introduced in the nozzle member via an air intake unit which mixes air with heated water prior to the warm water jet exiting from a jet opening in the nozzle member.

Abstract: A portable device for adapting a toilet for use as a bidet comprising a rigid conduit having a generally horizontal portion sized to fit in the gap between the bottom surface of the toilet seat and the top surface of the toilet bowl rim, and a generally U-shaped portion for upwardly discharging a column of water. The end of the horizontal conduit portion remote from the U-shaped portion is connected to a water supply line. The adaptor further comprises a second rigid conduit having a horizontal portion sized to fit between the toilet seal and the toilet bowl rim with a donwwardly opening end, and a diverter valve operable to selectively direct water into either of the two conduits. The two conduits are horizontally spaced apart to provide stabilization. In the preferred embodiment, the first and second onduits are in major part defined by hollow passageways within an integrally formed plastic body member.

The device includes a washing nozzle for discharging washing water and a water feed line connecting the washing nozzle to a source of water. A heat exchanger, heater, temperature sensor, heat-sensitive safety switch, and controller are provided to control the temperature of water which is discharged. By using the device, water will be discharged from the device which is always comfortable to a user, even after the device has not been used for relatively long periods and when water supplied to the device varies in temperature.

The pressure of the cold water supply forces the heated water through the spray nozzle and a partition is provided within the tank between the cold water inlet and the hot water outlet to prevent cold from being inadvertently forced through the hot water outlet.

Abstract: A water closet with a topical body washing mechanism including a water warmer mounted on the water closet and a spout pipe having a nozzle at the distal end therof for spouting warm water from the water warmer. The spout pipe is movable to and from an inoperative rest position within a bowl of the water closet, a second position advanced over the bowl to direct a jet of warm water toward the anus of the user and a third position further advanced over the bowl to direct a jet of warm water in a direction suitable for use as a bidet. An operating lever has a cam mounted on its rotational axis, the cam being contoured correspondingly to the second and third positions of the spout pipe to actuate a switch thereby starting a motor of a pump which sends forward warm water from the water warmer to the spouting nozzle. The electric circuit which includes the aforementioned motor and switch has in series a switching element and a delay circuit.

Abstract: An attachment for a water closet includes a mounting plate which is adapted to be secured on the upper surface of a toilet bowl at the rear thereof immediately beneath the rear end of a toilet seat. The mounting plate carries a section of a water inlet conduit which can be easily attached to a water supply line. A valve mounted on the plate is connected in the inlet conduit and controls flow of water to a nozzle which is carried on the end of a pipe that is mounted on the plate for swinging movement from a retracted position under a side portion of the rim of the bowl to a projected position at which the nozzle is located in an upwardly directed position at about the center of the bowl.

Abstract: An arrangement for washing the lower parts of the body is arranged within the seat of a water closet. The seat (18) is hingedly mounted on a tank (20). Wash water is conveyed from the tank (20) to the seat (18) by means of a line (66) extending through the hinge joint gap (175), which is enclosed by the mutually facing frontal surfaces of the seat (18) and the tank (20). The line (66) is interrupted in the region of the hinge joint gap (175) and terminates on each side of the hinge joint gap (175) in a coupling device. The two coupling devices form a sealed fluid passage when the seat (18) is lowered.

Abstract: A sanitary cleansing spraying device for use in toilets which includes a retractable spray nozzle connected through a control valve with a heated water reservoir which is in turn connected with a submerged water pump in the flushing water tank. The control valve and the spray nozzle are connected with a flushing lever so that the control valve is opened and the spray nozzle is moved to a spray position. The spray nozzle has two spray positions and in one of the two positions water is sprayed with a lower pressure than in the other position so that the device can be used as a bidet.

Abstract: A combination sitz bath, sitz shower, bidet and warm air unit. A portable unit comprises a U-shaped toilet seat supported at a sitting height by a hollow rigid construction having an open bottom. Adjustably positioned below said seat is a shower head aligned to direct water discharging therefrom in a vertical direction. A basin fits snugly around said showerhead to optionally provide a sitz bath. Additionally, bidet means are connected between an external water source and said shower head, and an adjustably positionable warm air unit provides a drying function.

Abstract: A sanitary toilet facility for disposal of human solid and liquid waste having a bowl section with a surface contoured to sealingly engage the body of the user. The bowl is connected to a waste disposal pipe to which is connected a vacuum source. Spray nozzles are arranged within the bowl directed toward the exposed body areas of the user and connected to a source of disinfectant and deodorant. Upon initiation of the cycle, which may be manual or automatic, a vacuum cycle is first initiated to withdraw waste. Thereafter, the spray system is initiated and thereafter a vacuum drying system. In another embodiment of the present invention, the facility has a bowl attached to a flexible waste hose for portability. In still another embodiment, the waste system may be in the form of a urinal for disposal of male liquid waste.

Abstract: A portable and rechargeable self-contained bidet for use in conjunction with toilet fixtures which controllably dispenses a contained water solution under pressure. A cylindrically shaped reservoir provided with an integral mounting bracket which passes between the lowered seat and the toilet bowl supports the reservoir adjacent to the exterior rim of the toilet bowl. The free end of the mounting bracket further extends into, thence inwardly and downwardly into the interior of the toilet bowl. A directable spray nozzle is located adjacent to the terminus of the free end of the mounting bracket. The reservoir contains the douche solution, and is provided with a spring biased piston by which pressure is maintained on the stored solution. An inlet valve permits charging of the reservoir with water under pressure from an available source through a hose connection. A discharge passage within the mounting bracket connects the reservoir interior to the inlet of the directable spray nozzle.
