Abstract: A system for hanging multiple pictures, photographs, picture frames, or other objects, collectively referred to herein as pictures, in a collage, using a regularly-spaced grid of pegs or other supports that are attached to a wall. Each picture includes one or more sockets, generally along the top of the picture, or one or more of its edges, although in some embodiments a picture can include sockets located elsewhere on the picture. A picture can be attached to the grid by placing it on the grid so that its sockets are supported by the pegs. In accordance with an embodiment, to add a picture to the wall, a user places the top edge of the picture over the grid until its sockets fit around the pegs, and then allows the picture to swing into the wall until it rests against the wall or other supports. To remove the picture, the user gently lifts the picture off the pegs and removes it from the wall. This process can be repeated with multiple pictures to create or change a wall-mounted collage.

Abstract: A flexible, scalable multiple frame topology system capable of a wide range of multiple frame geometric topologies. Specifically a series of photographs, a series of photographic letters, or any series of flat, semi-flat, or three-dimensional display objects are displayable in a wide variety of display geometries: a horizontal line of frames, multiple, stacked, horizontal lines of frames, a vertical array of frames, multiple vertical arrays of frames, staggered arrays of frames, diagonal arrays of frames, crossword arrays of frames, and any combinations thereof. Also the disclosed display method is capable of displaying three-dimensional objects on shelves, or glass display cases, shadow boxes, on hooks, interlocking into the display cases—and the geometric display can mix a number of different display frames, for instance, a series of flat framed items with a three dimensional objects at each end of the array.

Abstract: A retractable double-sided banner stand has a base, two upright posts, a crossbar, and a single banner with graphic image(s) disposed on both sides of the banner. The base generally includes a housing, two housing end cap assemblies, a single core, and a retracting mechanism. The banner is wound around the core, and the retracting mechanism unwinds and winds the banner with respect to the core. The leading edge of the banner is attached to the crossbar, which is wider than the width of the banner. The banner stand has an erect upright mode for displaying the images(s), and a collapsed mode for transporting the banner stand. In the erect mode, the upright posts are retained in the base by means of a quick-release locking mechanism, the banner extends upwardly from the base, and the crossbar engages with, and is supported by, the upper portion of each of the upright posts.

Abstract: A display system utilizing a graphics box as a primary component is disclosed. The graphics box greatly increases the flexibility and aesthetic appeal of displayed graphics cards. The ability to mass produce the graphics box, use multiple graphics boxes to deliver displays of different size and information content and, especially, the ability to reuse the graphics boxes, means that costs of the disclosed display system are relatively low and are achievable without a decrease in the aesthetic appeal of the entire display. Structures for supporting the graphics box to further increase the flexibility of the display system are also disclosed.

Abstract: A novelty advertising system using a plurality of hollow plastic rectangular enclosures simulating stacking boxes of real products to construct an advertising display is herein disclosed. The hollow enclosures provide replaceable advertising inserts depicting the product being sold. Each enclosure is provided with a plurality of interlocking posts and sockets allowing creation of large stable displays without using large quantities of real product which cannot be sold. Such displays can be built with minimal expense while avoiding a danger of toppling displays built with the actual heavy product.

Abstract: A presentation banner system is provided which allows multiple banners to be provided side by side to provide a continuous display without gaps between adjacent banners. The banner is stored in a roller in a container the container being longer than the roller and the banner being the same length as the container and the ends of the container are provided with means for attachment of neighbouring containers to each other.

Abstract: A self-addressing control unit system and method for controlling a sequence of or an array of display signs comprising of a remote or master controller and a plurality of control units interconnected by a physical or logical parallel electrical bus having multiple connections to transfer data or power between the plurality of control units; wherein the electrical bus further comprises of a main broadcast line, an addressing line and a feedback line to every control unit. The remote or master controller transmits an initial address to a first of the plurality of control units on the addressing line of the bus where a calculator or computer within each of the plurality of control units computes its own address by performing a mathematical operation that changes the initial address by adding a constant of one to the address received to produce its own new address.

Abstract: A sign system comprises one or more box-like modules having a front section and a corresponding rear section sized to fit together in sliding engagement to define an interior cavity. The sections may be joined together with fasteners which engage the side panels of each section thereby leaving the front and rear surfaces free of discontinuities. The sign modules may be affixed to a generally planar surface or supported on internal or external mounting posts. During installation, the rear section may be mounted first and the front section subsequently attached to the rear section. In this way only approximately one-half of the total weight of the sign need be lifted and manipulated at any one time thereby facilitating installation. The interior cavity defined by the front and rear sections may accommodate lighting means for internally lighting the sign.

Abstract: The portable advertising system of the present invention comprises a body having a first end and a display support, at least one universal attachment system adapted for securing the body to a vehicle proximate the first end, at least one exterior wall arranged to display an advertisement, and the display support securing an illumination source directed towards the at least one exterior wall. The at least one exterior wall and the illumination source may be integrated into an electronic display unit. The at least one exterior wall may also be an advertising sheet composed of vinyl and the illumination source may be a plurality of light emitting diodes. The portable advertising system may include a railroad car arranged to receive the at least one universal attachment system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a floor display comprising a floor panel, which panel comprises an upper surface, which upper surface of the panel mostly follows a line from the front of the bottom surface to the top of the side surface, hereby forming an inclined panel. It is the object of the invention to achieve a floor display at the floor in shops or supermarkets. This object can be achieved with a floor display if the upper surface of the panel forms a display area, which display surface comprises a transparent cover, which transparent cover is fixed to the panel at the panel front and at the side surface against the wall or shelf. It can hereby be achieved that the floor near walls or shelves is used for advertisement. As for all customers in shops or supermarkets, the floor is a very important place to use for advertisement.

Abstract: A collapsible display arrangement has a base unit for placing against and resting the collapsible display arrangement upon a support surface with a sheet formed from a rollable material. The sheet is rolled or unrolled and has an image. The collapsible display arrangement has a first rod as a support for cooperating with the base unit and for retaining the sheet in an exposed state with the sheet in the exposed state having an upper edge section, a first lateral edge section, and a second lateral edge section. The upper edge section is supported by a second rod provided with end related permanent magnets. Each magnet is oriented and has a magnetization direction and each has an attractive force that will operate between the permanent magnet and an adjacent second oriented permanent magnet. The second permanent magnet is connected to an adjacent second display arrangement, and each of permanent magnet has a magnetization direction causing an attractive force to the second oriented permanent magnet.

Abstract: The present invention is a strong, rigid, safety barricade system that is made of a material that is either corrugated or solid and can be assembled around a work or dangerous site to prevent or deter entry thereto and avoid resulting injury or interference with work. The safety barricade system consists of interlocking panels that attach to each other by sliding two, slotted, rigid flaps on the lateral end of one panel into the two slots that form the rigid flaps of another panel, and such panels are attached to an existing structure by use of a U-shaped rod that connects to a panel on one side and, by a suction cup, to the existing structure on the other. After interconnection, the panels are locked in place using a U-shaped interconnecting rod and an irreversible plastic “tie.” The barricade system is lightweight, easy to assemble and portable.

Abstract: The invention relates to an electronic advertising panel for playing fields. The inventive panel is formed by modules consisting of a functional sandwich-type assembly comprising a metal plate (3), at least one polycarbonate sheet (4) and at least one PCB plate (5) which is equipped with LEDs (5.1). The components of the aforementioned assembly are joined using bolts (6) which are inserted into the metal plate (3) and which extend through the polycarbonate sheet(s) (4) and the PCB plate(s) (5). Said functional assembly is housed in a casing which is equipped with coupling means for joining modules and with support feet which can be rotated between a folded position and a use position.

Abstract: The illuminable address display system may include mobile support blocks adjustably connected to each other. An anterior side of each support block may have an illuminable transparent number. The system may further include a plurality of conductive cords, with ball bearings attached directly to first and second opposed ends. The cords may adjustably connect adjacent support blocks and the first conductive cord may connect to a power source. Each support block perimeter may also includes a track with a plurality of sockets running along the thereof. A conductive coupling may be seated within each support block and electronically coupled to the track. The conductive couplings transmit electricity from the power source, along adjacent conductive cords, and to a light-emitting member in each support block. A controller may be coupled to the conductive cords for toggling each illuminable number into off or on modes.

Abstract: A dual panel-frame interface system for the construction of portable displays comprises one or more frame members and one or more panel members. Each frame member is adapted to accommodate the releasable connection of two general types of panel members. One type of panel member is generally flexible with mounting gaskets flexibly connected to its peripheral edge for receiving engagement by a mounting groove in the frame member. The other type of panel member is a more rigid, face-mounted type that is placed in clinging engagement directly with a lateral wall of the frame member. The frame member is adapted such that when a rigid type panel member is placed in clinging engagement with the lateral wall, the respective unused mounting groove remains visually obscured from a viewpoint outward of the outer surface of the panel member, thus making the system more visually appealing.

Abstract: An electronic sign having slotted frame cabinets whereby each slotted frame cabinet can conveniently be attached to one or more vertically or horizontally positioned adjacent slotted frame cabinets by using connecting components which are generally located around the periphery of one or more slotted frame cabinets. Connecting components including splice bars, splice plates, and mounting clamps are aligned in, positioned along and secured to backing bars which are co-located in backing bar slots in one or more of the slotted frame cabinets. Lift eyes can be variably located in one or more lift eye slots. The use of externally located connecting components, which do not extend through the cabinetry, minimize the entry of environmental elements into the interior of the electronic sign. Multiple slotted frame cabinets can be connected without the removal of LED display panels.

Abstract: The display panel has an outer surface to which a sign may be attached and an inner surface having a fastener composed of resiliently deformable material. An end of the fastener is separated from the display panel by a slit which is adapted to receive an outer plate of a conventional door handle The outer plate is held in the slit by the resiliently deformable composition of the fastener. The plate may however be removed from the slit by the application of a force opposed to the bias of the resilient material in order to widen the slit.

Robust male and female latching assemblies at the top and bottom of electronic display modules provide for forcible positive action latching between vertically situated electronic display modules to provide a minimally visible horizontally oriented seam therebetween. Side latches between horizontally situated electronic display modules assemblies provide for latching to provide a minimally visible vertically oriented seam therebetween.

Abstract: An illuminated emergency sign comprises a main body, a rotary body, side covers, a circuit board, a LED lamp indicator, an acrylic sign panel, and a canopy. The acrylic sign panel is connected to the lower end of the rotary body. In the rotary body is disposed a LED lamp panel. The LED lamp indicator is disposed on the LED lamp panel. The rotary body is rotatably connected to the lower end of the main body. In the main body is disposed a battery. The side covers are connected to both ends of each of the main body and the rotary body. The canopy is disposed on the top of the main body. The sign panel of such an illuminated emergency sign can be rotated within 180 degrees and fixed at a proper angle under action of the friction.

Abstract: A display for tradeshows and the like, the display having a framework configurable between erected and collapsed configurations, wherein when in the erected configuration, the framework includes a front, opposed ends, and vertical elongate members presented with the framework proximate the ends. A pair of resiliently flexible end panels can be removably wrapped around the ends of the framework in a flexed position. The panels having a vertical end panel magnetic strips operably magnetically engageable with one of the elongate members. Front display panels, also with magnetic strips, can be engaged with vertical elongate members. The end panels can be secured in place by being at least partially sandwiched between the magnetic strip of front panels and the vertical elongate member.

The board has an blocking panel having printed advertising material on one face layered on the front of PCB base plates installed with combination of LED devices. Abstract: A multi-panel fold-out device made from a blank includes at least first, second, and third panels which are joined together in sequence, and formed by separation lines between the first, second, and third panels. The first and second panels each have an internal panel portion including a score line adjacent to an edge of the panel. Each internal panel portion is releasably secured to its panel such that the internal panel portion can be pivoted around its score line relative to its panel. The first panel is foldable over, along the first separation line, to secure the first panel to the second panel. The first and second panels are foldable under, along the second separation line, to secure the first and second panels to the third panel. The first and second internal panel portions are of different sizes so that these panels can be folded out in sequence.

Abstract: There is provided an expandable modular display that is generally comprised of display modules that may be wall mounted, utilized as a desktop or countertop display, or vertically stacked with a plurality of like display modules in a display stand. The display stand is disposed to be connected by hand utilizing connecting apertures and pins. The display stand may be expanded horizontally using the connecting apertures and pins to receive additional display modules. The display is disposed to mount display modules vertically in a back to back position.

Abstract: A folding display includes a tower member having a display panel with advertising indicia on a front surface and a support panel attached to the back surface. The display and support panels feature lateral fold lines so that the tower member may be folded for shipping and storage. The support panel has a pair of flaps formed therein and each flap features an arcuate surface. The flaps may be moved into a position where the arcuate surfaces engage the back surface of the display panel so that it assumes a convex configuration. The tower display is then capable of standing on a generally horizontal surface. A pair of the tower displays may be positioned in spaced relation with a bridge member, also featuring advertising indicia, extending between them. A base member lays on the surface upon which the display is standing and features end portions that engage the tower members.

Abstract: An interrelated form apparatus and method includes a three dimensional first piece with an image or partial image, with a front and a side. A three dimensional second piece with an image or partial image, with a front and a side is also provided. A first surface joined with a second surface at an angle is provided and the first piece is located on the first surface and the second piece is located on the second surface such that the image or partial image, on the front of one piece combines with the image or partial image, on the side of another piece to create a unified image. An unlimited number of pieces as well as surfaces as well as varying angles can be used to create the unified image.

The invention includes a plurality of movably hinged display panels as described. The display panels are composed of a foam core material coupled between two outer sheet layers made of foldable, tear resistant material. The invention also includes a connecting means comprising a removable connecting bracket which may be used to attach one or more display panels along the outer edges of the movable hinged panels thereby expanding the height and width of the display area of the device. The disclosure further includes a support means comprising a detachable support bracket used to vertically stabilize the device while it sits above a planar surface such as the floor, or a desktop.

Abstract: A folding display apparatus includes: first and second forms; and at least one flexible connector strip interconnecting the first and second forms and carrying indicia thereon in a preselected pattern. The apparatus is moveable between a first position in which the first and second forms collectively define a face bearing a first image composed from the indicia; and a second position in which the first and second forms collectively define a second face bearing a second image composed from the indicia.

Abstract: A foldable display is provided having at least three panels hingedly connected to each other, wherein the panels include means for receiving corresponding means on other displays for interlocking and stacking the displays. In the preferred embodiment, these means comprise at least two slits provided at the top of each display and at least two slits provided at the bottom of each display, which slits cooperate to create complementary tabs on adjacent displays, which tabs interlock with each other to frictionally attach one display on top of another. A separate header unit, also including slits disposed therein, may be mounted to the top of an assembled display to further buttress the structural stability of the unit.

Abstract: A modular graphics display panel includes an enclosure with a front side and a back side. The front side has a front opening and the back side has a back opening. An array of display elements is mounted on one or more display tiles. The display tiles are removably affixed to the front opening of the enclosure such that components of the modular graphics display panel are serviceable from the front side of the enclosure when the back side is obstructed. An access door is removably affixed to the back opening of the enclosure such that components of the modular graphics display panel are serviceable from the rear side of the enclosure when the front side is inaccessible.

Abstract: A modular graphics display panel includes an enclosure and an array of display elements mounted on a front surface of a bezel affixed to a front opening in the enclosure. Protrusions are made on two sides of the enclosure with a power/data connector mounted on the protrusions. Mating dimples are made on two opposite sides of the enclosure with mating power/data connectors mounted within the mating dimples. Corner keyholes are formed in each of the back corners of the enclosure for accepting locking keys.
