Abstract: A sign cover includes a first portion fixed at a top side thereof with a top side of a second portion. Peripheral edges of the portions extend past a peripheral edge of a sign by a margin area when the portions are positioned over a front side and a rear side of the sign in a deployed configuration. The margin area of the portions each include a plurality of two-part mechanical fasteners. As such, in use, with the first portion and the second portion draped over the sign, the two-part mechanical fasteners hold the cover onto the sign. The first portion may include one or more transparent pockets for displaying one of several alternate signs.

Abstract: A marquee banner assembly includes one or more lightweight molding(s) that may be bowed under tension, at least one or more channels configured for the insertion of a flexible sign, and attachment brackets attachable to a substrate which may any vertical surface. The attachment brackets are angled to provide a curvature to the molding when the molding is attached to the brackets. The assembly may employ natural light alone, or any combination of natural light, artificial light.

Abstract: A method and system for generating a schematic illustration of a design made by inserting cups in the openings of a chain-link fence are provided. A customer uploads a design representation through a web based interface. The designer adjusts the representation into a matrix of polygons displayed on a graphical user interface (GUI). The matrix of polygons represents the polygonal openings of the chain-link fence. The representation is converted into a cluster of highlighted polygons that represents the schematic illustration of the design. The customer can customize the design parameters and place an order for the design.

Abstract: A display system is easily attached to the safety bar of a chair on a chair lift system at the beginning of a season. The display system includes brackets formed of rails holding clamp portions that may be fastened together to clamp the display system to a chair, such as to the safety bar across the lap of a rider. At the end of a season, the display system may be removed from each chair, the clamp portions removed, and the display systems stacked. In one simplified system, adjacent displays may be stacked back to back, and such adjacent pairs may be stacked with the displays in adjacent pairs positioned face-to-face. Thus, metal brackets on the backs need not scratch up the reading faces or surfaces. Meanwhile, the displays may be stored in minimal space, with great stability, while minimizing wear and damage.

Abstract: A display apparatus is provided that has multiple contiguously arranged adjustable mounting brackets that each has a proximal base portion and a distal attachment portion. There are a corresponding number of contiguously arranged display frames that are attached to the distal attachment portions of the adjustable mounting brackets. The display frames are designed to accommodate removable displays. The adjustable mounting brackets can be extended and retracted so that the display apparatus can attach to different sized mounting areas.

Abstract: The perimeter of a hollow-core nonmagnetic frame is magnetized with magnetic inserts. Display panels of corresponding shape and size are provided with a ferromagnetic material along their perimeter so that the display panels can be magnetically retained in position on the frame by magnetically coupling to the magnetic inserts through the nonmagnetic frame. In this manner, aesthetically pleasing seamless multi-panel displays can be created in various shapes and sizes.

Abstract: Implementations of the present invention provide systems, apparatus, and methods for precisely placing a graphic in a desired position between a face panel and a rear panel. In particular, implementations of the present invention comprise wall plaques having graphics that are printed directly to the back surface of face panels. Printing a graphic directly to the back surface of a face panel may help to ensure that the graphic is flat on the back surface of the face panel and is not misaligned. In addition, printing a graphic directly to the back surface of a face panel may help to eliminate the possibility that the graphic will be wrinkled, torn, or otherwise damaged prior to being laminated on the back surface of a face panel Implementations of the present invention may also make the manufacturing process more efficient both in terms of cost and time.

Abstract: A modular sign inserts system that comprises a back panel onto which at least two insert panels are adjacently arranged is provided. Each insert panel has a front side and a back side wherein the back side is placed onto the back panel and the front side displays information. The system further comprises at least one partition to be removably placed between two adjacent insert panels wherein the back side of the insert panels is removably connected to the back panel. The system can also be provided with a plurality of connectors attached to the back side for connecting the insert panels to the back panel.

The display system comprises a frame that defines a support structure, and a display face removably attached to the support structure. The support structure is adapted to be fixedly mounted to a wall of a building, or a sidewalk, or the like. The support structure and display face have a plurality of interengageable fasteners, e.g., snap members. The display face can thereby be easily attached to and detached from the support structure while hiding the body of the support structure from sight.

Abstract: A method for protecting an advertising sign from weathering conditions is disclosed. The method includes the operation of providing a frame configured to hold a plurality of sign segments, the sign segments having a front side and a back side each configured to carry graphical images. The front and back sides of each sign segment can be covered with a substantially transparent covering configured to enable each sign segment to be essentially undamaged by weathering effects for a period of at least seven years. The plurality of sign segments can be configured to be stacked on top of one another within the frame. The frame can be configured to enable removal and replacement of one or more of the plurality of sign segments.

The other type of panel member is a more rigid, face-mounted type that is placed in clinging engagement directly with a lateral wall of the frame member. The frame member is adapted such that when a rigid type panel member is placed in clinging engagement with the lateral wall, the respective unused mounting groove remains visually obscured from a viewpoint outward of the outer surface of the panel member, thus making the system more visually appealing.

Abstract: A tab extending from a panel is inserted into a channel through an opening in a vertically aligned bracket supported by a pole. The bracket includes a pair of plates positioned in spaced overlying relation and connected by a brace to form the channel between the plates. The panel is first moved in a vertical direction until an upper tab is inserted through a slot formed by a stop positioned in the channel at a predetermined distance from the brace. The upper tab guides a notch in the panel to receive the stop until the stop contacts the bottom of the notch. Thereafter the panel is rotated in the channel until a lower tab is aligned with a second slot formed by a second stop at the opposite end of the channel. The panel is further moved until the second tab is positioned in the second slot to guide a second notch in the panel to receive the second stop and securely retain the panel in the bracket channel.

The exterior surface of the shelter includes at least two integral, co-planar, advertising panel slots, which extend along opposing vertical margins of a portion of the shelter. Each of the advertising panel slots is adapted to retain a vertical edge of the advertising panel to detachably mount the first advertising panel to the exterior surface of the shelter.

Abstract: A Snap N Place sign system and method for supporting a sign message includes a sign substrate associated with a number of rubber nipple fasteners and a lens. The sign message and the lens further include mounting holes placed at their corners for securely holding the sign message in association with the sign substrate and lens. The rubber nipple fastener can be pulled through the mounting holes in the lens utilizing a relatively low insertion force. The rubber nipple fasteners can be driven axially into the mounting holes in the lens with a flexible tab engaging the lens and flexing as they move through the hole in the lens. The rubber nipple fastener can be specifically designed such that the force required to install or push the rubber nipple fastener through the mounting hole is relatively low thereby facilitating ergonomic considerations. The Snap N Place sign system is capable of holding signs of a variety of thicknesses and sizes.
