Abstract: A multiple spindle inclined drilling machine includes a base having a bed inclined at an acute angle and with guideways upon said bed. A slide is reciprocally mounted upon said ways and is connected to a piston rod of a cylinder assembly mounted upon said base for effecting reciprocal movements thereof. A multiple spindle head is mounted upon said slide. An apertured fixture adapter is mounted upon said bed and lies in a plane at right angles thereto. A rotative drive mechanism is mounted upon said bed and has a variable speed output shaft. A plurality of drive spindles with individually mounted drills is adjustably supported upon and within said head and connected to said drive mechanism. An upwardly and rearwardly inclined fixture mounting plate spans and is secured to said adapter for supporting a workpiece mounting fixture.
Abstract: A manually operable boring apparatus powered by compressed air drills precisely located pilot holes in cabinet doors to assist in the installation of apertured cabinet hinges. Upon the command of an operator, the hole boring apparatus causes a drill assembly containing three rapidly rotating drill bits to extend one-quarter inch into the rear face of a cabinet door. The boring apparatus further includes a bracket and retractable indexing pins which locate the drill bits a predetermined distance from the end of the cabinet door.

Abstract: A drilling machine is disclosed for use in providing bolt holes in concrete stadium riser steps and the like. The drilling machine includes a relatively stationary base plate, and a foot plate slideable upon the base plate along a predetermined path. The foot plate carries drill mounting means for mounting a plurality of commercially available drills. An operating lever moves the foot plate, drill mounting device and drills toward and away from a vertical drilling face over the base plate.
