Abstract: A spiral distributor for a die head of a foil extrusion line has spiral channels provided with shortening sections in their backward area. As compared to a geometrical rule for a discontinuation of the spiral channels which is valid in a prior section of the spiral channels, this arrangement leads to a faster discontinuation of the spiral channels. The design of the backward area of the spiral channels does not affect the good overlaying effect of the front part of the spiral channels. As compared to the customary embodiment, the channels are thus equipped with a less profiled backward end which leads to a more cost-effective manufacture and to a lesser flow resistance.

Abstract: The present invention is an expansion tool device for pliers or machine for producing sockets at the ends of pipes made out of plastic or composite material, used in the field of plumbing. The device includes a cylindrically-shaped ferrule formed by the tightening of several sector-shaped chucks. The chucks are movable in the radial direction under the action of the insertion between them of a tapered needle movable in axial translation through the actuation of the pliers or machine. The chucks are allowed to pass from a tightened position to a separated position. In an integrated way or in a unit designed capable of being intercalated between the ferrule and the pliers or machine, there is an automatic driver for the ferrule, when the ferrule passes from the separated position to the tightened position, directly or indirectly, in axial swiveling according to a portion of a turn.

  • Patent number: 8235699
Abstract: A honeycomb structure-forming die 1 has a die substrate 22 including a first plate-shaped member 23 having back holes 6 for introducing a raw forming material and a second plate-shaped member 24 having slits 5 for forming the material into a lattice shape. The first plate-shaped member 23 has columnar portions 8 where at least a part is zoned by a slit-shaped groove portion 7 corresponding with a shape of the slit 5 on a bonding face side 28 where the first plate-shaped member 23 is bonded with the second plate-shaped member 24. In the columnar portions 8, the ratio (L/T) of the height L of the columnar portions 8 to the minimum width T in an end face on the bonding face side 28 is within 1/3 to 3.5. Thus constituted die realizes high formability, and two plate-shaped members constituting the die substrate are hardly peeled from each other.
