The pattern may comprise a first mark embedded at a selected point on the greenscreen, a plurality of second marks each embedded a first distance away from the first mark, and a plurality of third marks each embedded a second distance from the first mark, wherein the second distance is greater than first distance.

Abstract: Laminates are described herein. A laminate is characterized in that the laminate contains a water-absorbing polymer known as a super-absorbent polymer (SAP) between one or more elastic interplies, wherein the interplies consist of sheetlike lengths of material which are firmly bonded together on the outside surface of individual threads, strands or bands and this laminate is extendable essentially transversely to the production direction and shirred in a relaxed state, and the elastic interplies contain many individual sections or cassettes of superabsorbent and create room for the expansion of the laminate on fluid imbibition perpendicularly to and within the manufacturing plane.

Abstract: This invention provides an improved protective mat that includes a magnet at each end for temporally securing the mat to a pipe so that the mat remains in position during a welding process. The mat is flexible so as to conform to the curvature of the pipe and may be placed in any position preferable on the surface of the pipe. The positioned and secured mat prevents spatter from coming into contact with the external surface of the pipe lying under the positioned protective mat. The mat is preferably heat and fire resistant up to temperatures of about 1500° F. and may be a silicone-coated fiberglass mat. When the mat is not in use, the mat may be folded and the magnets may be used to secure the ends of the mat to one another.

Abstract: An insulative material and a method of forming the insulative material are provided. The insulative material is configured to change shape in response to temperature and thus, for example, the insulative material may become more insulative as the temperature decreases. For example, the insulative material may include a plurality of fibers that change shape, such as by curling, in response to decreases in temperature, thereby correspondingly changing the insulative properties.

Abstract: Multi-layer non-woven fabric material composed of non-woven fiber sheets of aramide/polyethylene fibers, impregnated with resin and/or a filler material, and oriented at various angles, which is used for manufacturing protection garments. The multi-layered non-woven fabric material may also include a foam membrane backing to serve as an anti-trauma mechanism. The invention also describes a method for manufacturing said multi-layer non-woven fabric material and the protection garments thus obtained from a commercially available material, an “in house” equivalent, or the discarded leftover portions of either the commercially available material or the “in house” equivalent material that is not commercially available.

Abstract: A shock-absorbing strap assembly for attachment to a load including an inelastic strap having an elongate direction and a widthwise direction and a discrete elastic member having an expandable portion. The elastic member is coupled to the inelastic strap. The inelastic strap is coupled to, and overlaps, the elastic member such that, when the strap assembly is in a relaxed state, the inelastic strap forms at least one slack. The strap assembly further includes a shoulder pad coupled to the inelastic strap and at least partially overlapping the inelastic strap and the elastic member, such that at least a portion of the inelastic strap slidably engages with at least a portion of the shoulder pad when an external tension is applied to the inelastic strap.

Abstract: A welding arrangement for plastic components includes a base member, a primary member abutting onto the base member and provided with a first positioning feature that engages a corresponding first positioning feature provided on the base member. A secondary member is vibration welded to the base member so as to at least partly interpose the primary member between the secondary member and base member. Because the welding is performed while the primary member is properly positioned relative to the base member on account of the first positioning feature cooperating with the corresponding first positioning feature, the positional precision of the primary member is ensured. The primary member may be additionally provided with a second positioning feature that engages a corresponding second positioning feature provided on the secondary member, so as to permit positional adjustment between them in a prescribed direction corresponding to a direction of movement of the vibration welding.
