    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an encapsulation assembly for automotive glass including first glass, an encapsulation component, a plastic guiding rail, a sealing strip, and a decorative layer. Second glass is slidably connected in the plastic guiding rail. One end of the plastic guiding rail is fixedly connected to an edge of the first glass by means of integrally injection-molding the encapsulation component. The other end of the plastic guiding rail is provided with a guiding groove for guiding sliding of the second glass. The guiding groove includes an upper wall and a lower wall opposite to each other. The sealing strip is fixed between the upper wall and the lower wall. The second glass and the sealing strip slidably cooperate. A side of the plastic guiding rail facing outside of a vehicle is provided with the decorative layer by injection molding.

    Abstract: Connectors for joining adjacent modular floor covering units. The connectors include a film and an adhesive layer coated on one side of the film. To install tiles using the connectors, a first tile is placed on the floor and a connector is positioned so that the adhesive layer faces upward and does not contact the floor. The connector is typically positioned so that only a portion of the adhesive layer adheres to the underside of the tile, leaving the remainder of the connector extending from the underside of the tile. Tiles are then positioned adjacent the first tile so that a portion of the connector adheres to the adjacent tiles. In this way, the connectors span adjacent tile edges. The tiles are assembled on a underlying flooring surface without the need to attach them to the floor surface. Rather, the tiles are linked to each other with the connectors, so that the tiles create a floor covering that “floats” on the underlying floor surface.

    Abstract: Recrystallization and grain growth of metal, such as Cu, is achieved at higher anneal temperatures of 150° C. to 400° C., for example, for short anneal times of five to sixty minutes by forming a metal stress locking layer on the Cu before anneal and chemical-mechanical polishing. The stress locking layer extends the elastic region of the Cu by suppressing atom diffusion to the free surface, resulting in near zero tensile stress at room temperature after anneal. Stress voiding, which creates reliability problems, is thereby avoided. Improved grain size and texture are also achieved. The stress locking layer is removed after anneal by chemical-mechanical polishing leaving the Cu interconnect with low stress and improved grain size and texture.

The displacement elements are controlled in such a way that both heated plates reach the stratified material simultaneously and are withdrawn from said stratified material in the same manner. The device enables particularly wide, high-quality panels to be produced.

The aim is achieved by means of an asymmetric arrangement of short (2) and long (3) wedge-like recesses and slots (4) in the support strip as in FIG. 1, permitting a low weight and low production costs in fulfilling the said aims. The invention further relates to an asymmetric strip which can be used as reinforcing support for a seal made from rubber material in chassis production of automobiles.

    Abstract: A method/apparatus closes and finishes an open end of a product that can be fused together with heat. The apparatus includes a bending stage, a fusing stage, and a pressing/cooling stage, which all can be integrally formed, with the bending stage positioned upstream of the fusing stage, and the pressing/cooling stage positioned downstream of the fusing stage. The apparatus can further include a trimming stage positioned upstream of the bending stage for preparing the ends of a panel. The product has a pair of spaced layers with edges that form an open end. Either one or both of the layers can be heated and rolled toward the other layer while being heated so that they contact and fuse together. The layers can overlap and fuse at their contact surfaces, or the edges can abut to form a butt joint, or the edges can overlap slightly.

In a preferred embodiment, the first thermoplastic resin is an SBS block co-polymer, the epoxy resin is a bisphenol A-based liquid epoxy resin, the second thermoplastic resin is a polystyrene, and the reinforcer is hydrated amorphous silica.

    Abstract: A molded fabric treatment includes an integral undercut or inturned peripheral flange for affixing the treatment to the structure to be treated. The treatments have a conventional, decorative, woven polyester fabric (of the type currently used in conventional office divider screen systems), or fabrics comprising other synthetic or natural fibers, bonded with adhesive to a relatively stiff moldable non-woven polyester fiber backing. The treatments are formed in a membrane or bladder press in which a flexible membrane presses the fabric and fiber composite against a form or mold that includes an undercut edge which, in cooperation with the press membrane, forms undercut flanges about the periphery of the treatment. The undercut or inturned flange may then be "snapped" over a corresponding mounting lip on the structure to be treated.
