    Abstract: The present invention provides an inexpensive solid-state polymer electrolyte membrane to be used in a solid-state polymer electrolyte fuel cell, which can be manufactured by using inexpensive raw materials through a simpler chemical synthesis process, achieves good heat resistance and demonstrates superior proton conductivity at low humidity. A primary constituent of the solid-state electrolyte polymer film to be used in a solid-state polymer electrolyte fuel cell according to the present invention is a hyperbranched polymer having an acidic functional group such as sulfonic acid disposed at the terminal of a side chain thereof. The hyperbranched polymer may be, for instance, poly[(bis(oligo-ethylene glycol) benzoate)].

    Abstract: An electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery includes lithium salts, a non-aqueous organic solvent, and additive compounds, which initiates decomposition at 4V to 5V and show a constant current maintenance plateau region of more than or equal to 0.5V at measurement of LSV (linear sweep voltammetry). The additive compounds added to the electrolyte of the present invention decompose earlier than the organic solvent to form a conductive polymer layer on the surface of a positive electrode by increased electrochemical energy and heat at overcharge. The conductive polymer layer prevents decomposition of the organic solvent. Accordingly, the electrolyte inhibits gas generation caused by decomposition of the organic solvent during high temperature storage, and also improves safety of the battery during overcharge.

The basic polymer electrolyte film of the present invention has the characteristics of superior chemical stability, high mechanical strength and high ionic conductivity. When the present invention applies to a zinc-air battery, the utilization rate of zinc is promoted. The basic polymer electrolyte film of the present invention can be widely used in various energy storage systems, such as alkaline battery systems, alkaline fuel cells and capacitors.
