The configuration of the two extending fins, rear attachment pivot, and rotation of the freely rotational arm provides lateral sinusoidal movement, vertical and lateral oscillation, vibration, and noise that is beneficial to attract a number of species of fish.

Abstract: An adjustable buoyancy fishing bobber system for efficiently increasing or decreasing the buoyancy of a bobber to match the particular combined weight of the fishing line, lure and bait being currently utilized. The adjustable buoyancy fishing bobber system generally includes a casing including a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion extends from the second portion, wherein the casing includes a chamber formed within the first portion and the second portion. Adjusting the first portion with respect to the second portion adjusts a volume of air within the casing. A vent including a channel extends from the casing, wherein the channel extends through vent and fluidly connects to the chamber of the casing to allow the air from within the chamber to escape or enter within the chamber during adjusting.

Abstract: A flexible fishing lure is provided that includes a outer shape having a transverse opening for receiving a plurality of alternatively formed lure fin members allowing a user to change the action of a lure by fin selection without replacing the lure. Multiple internal channels within the lure are adaptively provided for receiving a variety of scent sticks, sound generators, light generators, flavor generating means. Flow internal channels extend from a front opening to gill openings allowing a water flow along an inserted scent or flavor stick member to pass through the lure body and exit proximate fin, nair, belly, or other locations simulating an injured or wounded fish leaking bodily fluids or blood. Other features to simulate wounded features. Replacement fins and weighting constructions allow a user to tailor a weight and action enabling a circling or injured motion during retrieval.

Abstract: A lure for use in angling for predatory fish has a hollow body shell having a generally fish-shaped form, provided with one or more fish hooks. A frontally-located funnel provided with a debris filter allows water to pass into an interior of the body shell. The water passes through the body shell and flows out through a rear discharge aperture and a lateral orifice which may include an intermittently-opening valve. A forwardly-projecting tongue in some versions acts as a diving vane. Other versions include a dorsal air intake connected to an entrainment tube to inject bubbles into the outflow of water, devices to generate vibrations or sound, or to attract fish, and versions optimised to dive and rise controllably, remain adjacent the surface, or sink then remain at depth.

The combination is arranged so that the hook, weight, and buoyant floating body being co operable together to cause the hook to orient in a more or less horizontal position, with the bend of the hook going “up”, and the point of the hook maintained in a position “on top” of or above the shank, and facing forward, and will not rotate sideways or backwards. This orientation is maintained at all times and is self correcting at all times; whether the lure is fished on the surface of the water, or suspended under the surface of the water, or while sinking and falling toward the bottom, or resting on the bottom, or while being drawn over underwater obstacles.
