  • Patent number: 11555612
Abstract: A dual fuel burner system includes a fuel burner housing and a main fuel supply conduit within the fuel burner housing. A main fuel nozzle is positioned proximate to a downstream end of the fuel burner housing and is in fluid communication with the main fuel supply conduit. The main fuel supply conduit is configured to provide 100% of the heat input requirement of the dual fuel burner system. A secondary fuel supply conduit is within the fuel burner housing. The secondary fuel supply conduit is configured to provide 100% of the heat input requirement of the dual fuel burner system. An air circuit is in fluid communication with an outlet of the main fuel nozzle. A direct spark ignitor is positioned proximate to the outlet of the main fuel nozzle.

  • Patent number: 7775792
Abstract: A combustion head comprising: a pipe, having a central axis of symmetry, suitable for conveying a flow of comburent air in a combustion chamber, and a plurality of gas tubes spaced out along a circumference. Each gas tube has a first portion, having an axis of symmetry parallel to the axis, and a second portion, placed in series with respect to the first portion. The second portion in inclined at an angle with respect to the axis.

  • Patent number: 7748978
Abstract: A piezoelectric lighter includes a lighter housing having a fuel storage chamber for storing liquefied gas therewithin, a gas releasing valve and a dual ignition arrangement adapted for generating two flames. The dual ignition arrangement includes second and second nozzles spacedly supported at the lighter housing, second and second piezoelectric units spacedly received in the lighter housing, and second and second actuators spacedly and movably mounted on the lighter housing. The second actuator is supported on top of the second piezoelectric unit to depress the second depressible part thereof for producing the second flame, wherein the second actuator is supported on top of the second piezoelectric unit to depress the second depressible part thereof for producing the second flame, such that the lighter is adapted for selectively producing the second and second flames via the second and second actuators respectively.

  • Patent number: 7661954
Abstract: This invention describes an improved gas burner assembly that can be adapted to attach to a range top or cooktop, or the floor of the range and can draw air from either above the range top level by external vents or from below range top level through an open style mixing cup. The invention uses a plurality of different flame rings to provide the user a wide variety of temperature settings starting from a low intensity simmer to high intensity cooking heat. The gas burner also utilizes a cover plate of transparent or translucent, heat proof material that allows the user to observe the interior of the burner to see if any of the flame rings have been ignited. The cover plate also transfers heat from the internal flame rings to the cooking utensil which provides a more uniform transfer of heat to the utensil.

  • Patent number: 6200131
Abstract: A burner set adaptable to standard commercial ovens that allows for the quick change-out of burners. Sockets, threaded on one end and open on the other end, are installed in existing threaded couplings in communication with a burner manifold. Each socket has a burner guide attached to the open end and receives a burner in the open end. The burners are secured to the oven by a burner support with a pivotally attached gate.

  • Patent number: 5429496
Abstract: A portable flare boom for the combustion of waste gases is disclosed for easy installation and maintenance requiring limited labor to adjust and install the flare boom. Preferably, the portable flare boom is for locations close to tank batteries or oil wells for the incineration of waste gas which is often vented into the atmosphere. It has a unitary vertical support frame perpendicular to a base plate and a hinge pin located on the vertical support frame for raising and lowering a flare stack pipe. On the upper end of the flare stack pipe is located a flaring assembly.

  • Patent number: 4431402
Abstract: A waste gas flare igniter includes a pair of ignition tubes, each having a fuel line and an electrode extending therethrough to points near the ends of the tubes. The tubes are connected to an air distribution box which is slidably mounted on linear guides. A jackscrew and motor translate the air box and tubes between an extended position wherein the tubes connect with inwardly directed extensions passing through a heat shield at the end of the flare pipe for ignition of the waste gas and a retracted position spacing the tubes from the heat shield. The air box is connected by a telescoping duct to a blower, and the fuel line to a valve and pump to provide a fuel-air mixture which is ignited when the tubes are extended to ignite the waste gas.
