Insulating Body Comprising Or For Use With Cylindrical Cap And Shell Type Lamp Receptacle Casing Patents (Class 439/702)
  • Patent number: 9039459
Abstract: A lamp socket receives an LED lamp provided with an L-shaped pin having a contact piece and an extension piece extending from a tip of the contact piece. The lamp socket includes a socket body having an insertion hole at its front surface and a conductive plate. The conductive plate has one surface facing an axis of the insertion hole and a first space is formed between the other surface of the conductive plate and an inner surface of the socket body. A second space is formed between a bottom surface of the socket body and the conductive plate. A third space, or rotation space, is formed between the first space and the bottom surface. When the pin is inserted via the insertion hole and the LED lamp is rotated, the contact piece comes in contact with the conductive plate and the extension piece passes through the rotation space.

  • Patent number: 7619354
Abstract: An image display apparatus includes a display panel with an aperture, an anode terminal for applying a voltage to the display panel through the aperture, and an anode cap, attached on an external surface of the display panel, for holding an electroconductive wire applying a voltage to the anode terminal. In addition, a fixing member has a through hole in which the anode terminal is inserted for fixing the anode cap at an inside portion of the anode cap. The anode cap includes a fastening portion detachably fastened to the fixing member within the anode cap.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an electrically insulative cylindrical housing, an electrically conductive member retained within the cylindrical housing, and at least one biasing member biased toward a surface of the conductive member. The conductive member defines a longitudinal axis and the biasing member(s) is/are circumferentially disposed about the longitudinal axis of the conductive member. Conductors inserted into the cylindrical housing are urged into electrical contact with the conductive member by the biasing member(s).

  • Patent number: 6817903
Abstract: A method and process reducing or eliminating electrical leakage between active areas in a semiconductor separated by isolation regions. A method and process are disclosed for the fabrication of an isolation region in a semiconductor. The method and process can be used in the fabrication of isolation regions used for the separation of adjacent active areas in an integrated circuit. A shallow trench is created on the surface of the semiconductor in regions where isolation spaces are to be formed. A layer of silicon dioxide (LINOX) is then grown over the surfaces of the trench. The LINOX covers roughened regions formed along the surfaces of the trench during its formation. The LINOX is then annealed at a temperature above the LINOX deposition temperature for a period of time. Annealing reduces stresses in the LINOX and in the surrounding semiconductor material. Annealing also increases the density of the LINOX. Thus annealing increases the LINOX resistance to gouge during subsequent processing.

  • Patent number: 5296780
Abstract: An arc discharge lamp including a two-piece base member having a main housing and a cap disposed at opposite ends of the lamp envelope. The main housing of the base member includes elongated slots to enable the housing to expand outwardly in response to positioning of the press seal. At least one internally-protruding segment formed in the housing is positioned within a detent formed in the press seal region of the lamp. Following positioning of the press seal, the cap is secured to the main housing. The base member is thus secured to the ends of the lamp envelope without the need for basing cements or the like.
