Abstract: A circuit breaker can minimize a change in a structure of a case when a material forming a stud is changed. A stud includes a base portion provided in the case and a protruding portion protruding from the case. A cross-sectional area of the protruding portion is more than that of the base portion; thereby a thermal conductivity of the protruding portion increases and the thermal conductivity from the protruding portion to an external conductor connected to the stud increases. In addition, since a surface area of the protruding portion increases, an amount of heat dissipated from the protruding portion increases. In the invention, since dimensions of the base portion inserted into a stud insertion hole of the case are not changed, it is not necessary to change the dimensions of the insertion hole of the case.

Abstract: An electrical interconnection system with high speed, high density electrical connectors. One of the connectors includes a mating contact portion that generates contact force as it is compressed against a wall of the connector housing. The mating contact portion has multiple segments, each with a contact region extending from the wall, such that multiple points of contact to a complementary mating contact portion in a mating connector are provided for mechanical robustness. Additionally, each signal path through the mating interface portions of the connectors can be narrow and has a relatively uniform cross section to provide a uniform impedance. Additional size reduction may be achieved by mounting a ground contact on an exterior surface of a connector housing in alternating rows. Additionally, embodiments in which a wavy contact is used in a cantilevered configuration are also described.

Abstract: A solenoid includes a coil, an after-formation terminal, and a yoke. The after-formation terminal includes an internal connection part and an external connection part. The internal connection part is conductively-joined to a conductor from which the coil is formed, or to a conductor which is connected to the coil. The external connection part is fitted and connected to a counterpart terminal. The yoke forms a magnetic circuit together with the coil. The after-formation terminal is disposed at an upper surface of the yoke. The external connection part is configured integrally with the internal connection part. The after-formation terminal is formed through application of bending or twisting to an intermediate part between the internal connection part and the external connection part of a before-formation terminal, which projects outward from the upper surface of the yoke in a direction of a central axis of the coil.

Abstract: A flexible terminal includes two flexible parts and a connecting part. Each flexible part includes an outer segment having a first end and a second end, a first bent segment having one end coupled to the first end, and an inner segment coupled to the other end of the first bent segment. The connecting part is coupled to two second ends of the outer segments. Due to the flexible arrangement of the flexible parts, the flexible parts can be flexibly deformed to fit the dimension of a fastening element. In addition, the inner segments of the flexible terminal can clip the fastening element so as to avoid the relative displacement of the flexible terminal and the fastening element during the operation.
