  • Patent number: 11113748
Abstract: Systems and methods for ordering a transportation vehicle using near-field communication (NFC) are disclosed. A method includes receiving, by a first client computing device, data from a first NFC target device responsive to a first NFC device associated with the first client computing device being in physical proximity of the first NFC target device. The method further includes generating, based on the data, an order request for a transportation vehicle. Responsive to the order request not being placed and the first NFC device of the first client computing device being within a predetermined physical proximity of a second NFC device of a second client computing device, the method further includes causing information associated with the order request to be transmitted from the first client computing device to the second client computing device.

Abstract: Software development kit (“SDK”) applications may be implemented with user data on an enterprise end-user or shared device subsequent to a single check-out process on the device. A user profile and a context ID for a user can be accessed based on user provided credentials. An agent application can set a value of an agent context ID to a server context ID corresponding to the context ID for the user profile. A status of a local context ID (“LCID”) of an SDK application can be determined in response to an application launch. Using the LCD, a context ID comparison can be performed on the device with a value of a context ID from one of the SDK application, the server, and the agent application based on the LCID status. A request for collaborative authentication is sent to the computing device of a person wanting to access a system, including an authentication ID unique to the request. The person collaborates with another person associated with the system and provides the second person with the authentication ID. The second person sends the authentication ID to the system such that the system associates the second person with the first person. Data is sent to the second person in order to challenge the first person. The first person responds to the challenge using the computing device and the system receives the response. The system compares the response to an expected answer and can either allow or deny the first person access to the system based on the comparison. Co-location may also be verified.

Abstract: Various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing a digital assistant connectivity system are provided. In operation, a request to receive a unique identifier is communicated from a digital assistant device. The unique identifier is utilized to pair the digital assistant device with a smart assistant device. The unique identifier is received from and generated by a digital assistant server to correspond with the digital assistant device and a corresponding digital assistant device application instance. An instruction to perform an action on the digital assistant device is received at the digital assistant device application. The instruction is communicated based on an established command-driven session between the digital assistant device application and the smart assistant device. The command-driven session is associated with the unique identifier that paired the digital assistant device and the smart assistant device.

  • Patent number: 10460361
Abstract: Presented are methods and systems to universally assess composite utility consumption (1) in which a plurality of real-time and batch sensor readings such as from multiple disparate utility sensor data inputs (3) may be acquired and stored such as into a local device (2) or a central data warehouse (6). A composite utility estimated cost generator (9) can generate missing or uncorrelated data and a collected composite utility data information correlator (11) can correlate the data so it can be applied to determine some type of composite utility cost information. For real-time calculation, a disparate utility rate information accessor (8) can obtain multiple items of disparate rate information and this can use with correlated data to create a composite utility consumption and spend so a user can manage and control utility usage for a home, building, facility, plant, specific equipment, or the like.

  • Patent number: 10387881
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for resolving a data transaction is provided in which a data transaction request and a counter data transaction request are received asynchronously in time by a data transaction processing system. A data transaction request includes data indicative of the data transaction and a transaction identifier but does not include account identifying information associated with the sender of the counter data transaction request. A counter data transaction request including data indicative of the data transaction and the transaction identifier is received. If a data transaction request has a transaction identifier identical to a previously received transaction identifier of a counter data transaction request, the data transaction is resolved, and a confirmation message is transmitted. If no identical transaction identifier has been received, the received data transaction request or the received counter data transaction request is stored in a transaction message database.

  • Patent number: 10380589
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method for resolving a data transaction is provided in which data transactions are resolved by a hardware matching processor that identifies data transaction requests received from client devices over a data communication network, matches incoming transaction requests with previously received transaction requests, and, based thereon, transmits electronic data transaction results messages to the client device. An incoming data transaction request is received and a match is attempted with one or more previously received but not yet resolved data transaction requests. It is identified whether either the incoming data transaction request or the matching data transaction request are dependent on the resolution of another data transaction request and whether that dependent data transaction request has been resolved. The data transaction requests are resolved and/or stored based on the match and resolution of dependencies.

  • Patent number: 10367942
Abstract: A service session is facilitated via a packet switched network; in the service session, user equipment participates in an interactive communication exchange with an agent via a first interaction mode, and the interactive communication exchange is based on a user inquiry. The interactive communication exchange is monitored and a determination is made that a consultation service would facilitate resolution of the user inquiry. A service resource is associated with the service session responsive to determining that the consultation service would facilitate the resolution; the service resource provides consultation to the agent via a second interaction mode without exposing the consultation to the user equipment. The consultation elevates an experience level employed in the first service session towards resolution of the user inquiry.

  • Patent number: 10306596
Abstract: A method and system for uplink-downlink transmission of data packets in a wireless cellular network, during idle state of User Equipment (UE) using connectionless transmission is disclosed. The method establishes S1 common bearer between a Radio Access Network (RAN) node and Serving Gateway (SGW) and S5 common bearer between the SGW and Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW). The method defines a modified Uu interface between the UE and the RAN node. The method appends data packets with UE Identifier (ID) and routing information as packet header information to independently route data packets through wireless cellular network in a self-sustainable manner using the established common bearers and the modified Uu interface. The method secures data packets by providing integrity and ciphering protection. The method eliminates cost of dedicated bearer set up and reduces signaling overhead on the Uu interface thereby improving network efficiency and battery life of the UE.
