Abstract: A position management system includes a first receiving unit configured to receive a radio wave according to a predetermined wireless communication standard from a first device when the movement of a second device is detected; a second receiving unit configured to receive second position information including latitude and longitude information from an IMES transmitting device when the movement of the second device is detected; and an acquiring unit configured to measure an intensity of the received radio wave, estimate a position of the second device based on the intensity, and acquire first position information indicating the estimated position. The second receiving unit receives a radio wave from GPS when the second device moves outdoors where communication with the IMES transmitting device is not possible, and sets latitude and longitude information, which is measured based on the radio wave received from the GPS, as the second position information.

Abstract: Techniques described herein may be used to enable a user to have a call transferred between user devices regardless of how the user devices are connected to a wireless telecommunications network. For example, a user may register a first and second user device for a service that allows calls to be transferred between the user devices. A server may detect a call involving the first user device and may identify the second user device based on the prior registration. The server may detect a type of connection between the second user device and the wireless telecommunications network and may notify the second user device of the call based on the type of connection detected. In response to the notification, the user may request that the call be transferred to the second user device, and the server may cause the call to be transferred accordingly.

Abstract: A control system includes a multi-core processor configured to operate plural different applications performing different operations for controlling a controlled system. The applications are associated with different levels of criticality based on the operations performed by the applications. The processor is configured to provide a single hardware platform providing both spatial and temporal isolation between the different applications based on the different levels of criticality associated with the different applications. The processor also is configured to synchronize communications of the applications operating in a real time operating system with scheduled communications of a time sensitive network (TSN).

Abstract: The present solution targets independent or inter-dependent resource management scenarios such as multi-sensor and other scenarios of possible process/component sharing, intended for individual or group synchronized core task management as part of a flexible long-term solution for monitoring, self-calibration, built-in self-testing, measurements and/or group synchronization dependant strategies. An extension to I2C compatible instruments is described. Disclosed is a module comprising an interpreter sub-module, for receiving and responding to I2C sequences and a register bank module comprising a plurality of registers for storing values. The disclosed module and method of operation can be used for initialization, measurement, and resource management through mixed-signal analog bus scheduling, synchronization and group addressing for built-in calibration strategies for example.

Abstract: Data in a mobile communications system is transmitted on at least one channel between at least one base station with multiple antennas and at least one user equipment. A base station applies precoding to the data based on a set of predefined codebooks. A first tracking mode with a first codebook from the set of predefined codebooks is used for the precoding, and at least a second tracking mode with at least a second codebook from the set of predefined codebooks is used for the precoding. The base station switches between the first tracking mode and the second tracking mode depending on at least one condition of the channel.

Abstract: A communication device and system are disclosed for providing communication and data services to residents of a controlled facility. The device can be restricted to communicating only using an internet protocol so as to restrict the device communication to an internal intranet. Wireless access points may be disposed throughout the environment to route calls and data between the device and a central processing center. By converting a protocol of the communications received from the device to a protocol used b r central processing center, minimal modifications to the central processing center are needed to support a wireless communication infrastructure. Many restrictions and safeguards may be implemented within the phone and system in order to prevent improper use.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for processing call services in a mobile terminal are provided. The method for processing call services in a mobile terminal includes entering into, when a call is generated, a call handling mode, recognizing and analyzing voice signals sent and received in the call to produce speech analysis information, detecting a state change of the mobile terminal using a sensing unit to produce user behavior information, and predicting, when a state change of the mobile terminal is detected, an application corresponding to the speech analysis information, and activating the application as a follow-up service.

In response to a hold command from a client device, the host device may connect to the call and place the call in a hold state. For example, when a phone operating as a host device receives an incoming call from a network, the phone may communicate the presence of the incoming call to client device(s), such as laptop, desktop, tablet, or wearable devices that are associated with the host device. When an answer and hold selection is made at a client, an answer and hold communication may be sent from the client device to the host device. The host device may then communicate with the network to connect the call to the host. When the call is connected, the host may mute the call until an answer or disconnect occurs.

Abstract: Adaptive neighboring cell measurement scaling by a wireless user equipment (UE) device. The UE may operate alternately in active and inactive states in a periodic manner according to DRX cycle timing for each of a plurality of DRX cycles. Paging messages may be checked for while in the active state during each DRX cycle. If a paging message is received, it may be decoded using a joint detection technique. The UE may adaptively determine whether or not to perform neighboring cell measurements during at least a subset of the DRX cycles, and perform neighboring cell measurements according to the adaptive determination. The adaptive determination may be based on one or more of joint detection of paging messages, one or more previous cell measurements, or an amount of motion of the UE.

The server verifies a login activity of the user based on the pre-stored reliable property information corresponding to the account to be logged in. Thus, the login verification process is simplified and the efficiency of login verification using the server is enhanced.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for managing incoming calls comprises receiving, at an intermediate server communicatively coupled to a mobile phone associated with a first phone number corresponding to a first contact group and a second phone number corresponding to a second contact group, a request to receive an incoming call associated with a caller phone number. The intermediate server identifies a contact group associated with the request. The identified contact group comprises the first contact group in response to the received request corresponding to the first phone number, and the identified contact group comprises the second contact group in response to the received request corresponding to the second phone number. The intermediate server selects a notification based on the identified contact group. The intermediate server modifies the request to receive an incoming call to include the selected notification and routes the modified request to the mobile phone.

If the waiting period exceeds a predetermined threshold, the terminal T generates a text message M_SMS for notifying the availability of the multimedia message MM, to be sent the terminal T2. Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for joining a video conference endpoint to a video conference. A user may use a mobile device to take a picture of a Quick Response (QR) code or may place the mobile device in close proximity to a Near Field Communication (NFC) tag. Such QR code or NFC tag may be associated with a video conference endpoint. The user may then transmit the information encoded by the QR code or NFC tag, along with a meeting identifier, to a server. The server, in turn, may instruct a video conference endpoint identified by the QR code or NFC tag to join a video conference identified by the meeting identifier.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a signal reception apparatus and a method for implementation thereof. Abstract: A communication device provides a face detection module and a face recognition module. The face detection module detects faces in a photo input by a user. The face recognition module searches the detected faces in a storage system of the communication device. If the detected faces do not exist in the storage system, the communication device prompts the user to edit communication information of the detected faces. If the user wants to dial a phone number, the communication device searches the storage system for the phone number of a selected face in a photo and dials the phone number. If a phone number is calling in, the communication device displays a photo corresponding to the phone number, and highlights a face corresponding to the phone number.
