Abstract: The disclosure discloses a door device including a panel, a pivoting arm module, and a door. The pivoting arm module includes a holder and a panel-pivoting arm. The holder is located in a doorway of the panel and fixed to the panel. The holder has an entrance and an accommodating trough. The panel-pivoting arm is slidably accommodated in the accommodating trough and can present a received status or an ejected status relative to the holder. The door is pivotally connected to the panel-pivoting arm. When the panel-pivoting arm presents the received status, the door abuts against the panel and closes the doorway, and the appearance surface of the door is flush with that of the panel. When the panel-pivoting arm presents the ejected status, the door leaves the panel and can rotate relative to the panel-pivoting arm to open the doorway.

Abstract: System for opening and closing a structural part arranged on a support structure. The system includes at least one hinged joint device for flexibly connecting the structural part to the support structure. The at least one hinged joint device is arranged inside the support structure and has an axis of rotation about which the structural part can be pivoted relative to the support structure during opening and closing. A locking arrangement is structured and arranged to connect the structural part to the support structure in a form-locking manner when the structural part is in a closed position. In the closed position, the locking arrangement is arranged to relieve the at least one hinged joint device.

Abstract: An articulating window assembly is adapted for use with a vehicle. The assembly includes a windowpane with an inner surface and a hinge adjacent to the inner surface. The hinge includes a stationary member having a pivot element with cylindrical extensions and a central portion of larger cross-sectional area than the cylindrical extensions. The hinge further includes a mounting element extending at an angle from the pivot element. A polymeric member surrounds at least a portion of the cylindrical extensions so as to permit the hinge member to articulate about the pivot axis. Optionally, the polymeric member defines a cavity adjacent the central portion on the compression side of the stationary member to provide clearance of the polymeric member when the window is opened.

  • Patent number: 7024822
Abstract: Articulating window assemblies are provided comprising, in combination, a windowpane and a hinge having a hinge axis. The hinge comprises a first hinge member that cooperates with a second hinge member and optionally with a hinge pin to form a hinge joint. The first hinge member has at least an encapsulation section with at least a first encapsulant void, optionally two or more encapsulant voids. A continuous body of encapsulant overlays at least a portion of an outward-facing surface of the encapsulation section, at least partially fills the first encapsulant void, overlays at least a portion of an inward-facing surface of the encapsulation section and overlaps either at least a portion of an external peripheral edge of the encapsulation section, a portion of a void edge defining a second encapsulation void, or both from both the outward-facing surface and the inward-facing surface. This provides a mechanical grip of the first hinge member by the encapsulant.

Abstract: An aircraft servicing pit that defines a subsurface chamber below a surface across which aircraft travel when not airborne is formed of a prefabricated pit body atop which a pit lid is mounted for rotation. Within the enclosure of the pit beneath the surface across which the aircraft travel a counterweight system is connected by gears to pit lid supporting arms. The pit lid supporting arms have proximal ends rigidly joined to pit lid gears, which are meshed with counterweight gears rigidly joined to counterweight arms supporting counterweights within the enclosure of the pit. The pit lid and counterweight arms move in counterrotation when the pit lid is opened and closed, with the gravitational force acting upon the counterweights acting in opposition to the force of gravity upon the pit lid.
