Abstract: A clip assembly is provided for securing a crib bumper to a crib. The clip assembly may include a clip adapted to be secured to the crib bumper. The clip may include a body member having a first arm and a second arm coupled to the first arm. The clip may also include a clasping member carried by the body member and adapted to clasp the first arm and the second arm. The clip assembly may also include a belt adapted to secure the clip to a portion of the crib. The belt may include a strap member having a fastener, adapted to secure the strap member to the crib portion. The belt may also include a protruding member carried by the strap member and adapted to be received by the linking member.

Abstract: A reversible platform and a crib therewith are disclosed. The reversible platform includes a pivotally-engaging mechanism and a bracket. The pivotally-engaging mechanism is disposed on a crib frame. The bracket is connected to the crib frame through the pivotally-engaging mechanism. The bracket has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The bracket is capable of being rotated to be disposed selectively with the first side or the second side facing upward for providing application space. Thereby, the invention can provide two application platforms with one occupied space of the crib frame, so as to solve the issue in the prior art that additional accessories provided for a conventional crib is provided for multiple functions occupy more space and the operation therefor is usually inconvenient to users.

Abstract: An infant support structure assembly includes a frame having an infant receiving portion configured to receive an infant therein and an electronic device. The infant receiving portion includes a support component extending along part of the infant receiving portion. The support component includes an electrical connector coupled thereto. The electrical connector is connected to a power source. The electronic device includes a mounting portion removably mountable to the support component of the frame. Power is supplied from the power source to the electronic device when the electronic device is mounted to the frame and engages the electrical connector of the support component.

Abstract: A baby crib rail device is provided for assisting an infant with relieving pain associated with teething. The device comprises a plurality of crib rail covers removably secure to the guardrail of a child's crib or playpen. Rail covers consist of channels having an inverted “U” shaped cross-section. The covers are secured to an infant crib guardrail by placing the rail through the open bottom of a crib rail cover and pushing downward to secure its location. Sections of rail cover are removably securable to each other in an end-to-end structure that results in an elongated crib rail cover. The covers may be constructed of a soft, durable, sanitizable material such as rubber or plastic. The surfaces of the different rail covers may have a variety of surface contours to provide different types of gum stimulation for teething infants. Rail covers may be arranged in any desired configuration according to the needs or interests of a child.

Abstract: A pet co-sleeper is designed to be connected to a human's bed for use by small to medium sized animals. Pets such as dogs and cats can use this sleeper to sleep beside their owners instead on of the bed. The pet co-sleeper has a frame which is substantially rectangular in shape. The frame has three horizontal bars forming a three-sided top frame and a fourth horizontal bar on the fourth side is lower than the other three horizontal bars. Fabric materials attached to the frame form a floor, four side walls and a horizontal divider located just below the fourth horizontal bar. A first mattress is placed over the horizontal divider to form a sleeping surface. A second mattress is placed on the fabric floor, such that the four side walls, the second mattress and the horizontal divider form a pet house.

The first supporting chassis and the second supporting chassis are connected in an “X” shape. One end of the actuator is connected to the first supporting chassis and the other end is connected to the bottom chassis and arranged to control the height of the upper chassis relative to the lower chassis.

The retractable side may have a first edge and a second edge each being captured in a track. In the cavity of the frame, the base frame is positioned adjacent an inner surface of each the first and second sidewalls and the first and second end walls.

Abstract: The adjustable bracket for a crib mattress platform includes a first embodiment having a slotted plate (26) attached to each rear corner post (20), (22) of the crib (10). Each plate (26) includes a series of lands (30) extending from the slot (28). A mattress platform corner bracket (42) attaches to each rear corner of the mattress platform (24), with a pin (50) extending from each corner bracket (42) and engaging the slot (28) of the corresponding corner post plate (26). The pin (50) selectively engages one land (30) of the corner post plate slot (28) to set the mattress platform height. A second embodiment includes two sliding sleeves (102) installed upon spaced apart vertical slats (104) of the crib rear wall (14). A mattress platform attachment bracket extends pivotally from each sleeve. The crib wall slats (104) have a series of receptacles (132), with locking pins (114) extending from the assemblies and engaging the receptacles (132, 134) to fix the height of the mattress platform as desired.

Attached is such that, while still in the crib, the infant can open the lid and retrieve a snack stored inside, such as a bottle of milk. In some embodiments the snack box can even accommodate cold storage, e.g. by having a thermally insulated enclosure. It can even be a small electric refrigerator. Before the parent goes to sleep for the night, they can prepare a snack, and store it overnight in the snack box. When the infant wakes up in the morning, they can retrieve the snack by themselves, after a few days' training, without crying. This will permit the parent to sleep longer, because they will not have to wake up prematurely for delivering the morning snack, and then wait until it is consumed.

Abstract: A system for facilitating the storage of an accessory part such as a changer station, bassinet or canopy includes a play yard, and an accessory kit that can be detachably or permanently secured on the play yard. The play yard comprises a frame structure having a plurality of side rail assemblies. The accessory kit comprises a foldable accessory part and a storage pocket that can be secured with one upper rim of the play yard. The accessory part can be folded into a compact form that fits in the storage pocket. When the user wishes to use the accessory part, the user can pull out and unfold the accessory part, and then fasten the accessory part on opposite sides of the play yard for adequate support. The ability to stow the accessory part in a compact manner in the play yard facilitates portability of the accessory part and play yard.

The main body has a bottom wall, two long side walls and two short side walls. The back plate is pivoted on the bottom wall for support baby-occupant in a selected inclination. The belt has a distal end affixed to one side of the main body and an adjustable length for passing across underneath the back plate for retaining the back plate in the selected inclination angle. The belt adjustment mechanism is mounted on the opposite side of the main body for adjusting the adjustable length of the belt by pulling the free end thereof and pressing the back plate downwardly just under the instinct of the care-giver.

Abstract: A changing table is mounted on the frame of a play yard to be vertically adjustable in operative height and pivotally movable between operative and inoperative positions. The frame of the changing table is provided with a downwardly extending guard member that extends across the opening between the frame of the changing table and the frame of the play yard to prevent a child's head from being trapped in the opening. The use of the guard member enables the changing table to be moved through a greater vertical range of operative positions without violating ASTM standards regarding the passage of probes through frame openings. The height adjustment mechanism is mounted within the vertical frame member of the play yard and the vertical mounting member of the changing table to allow the changing table to be raised and lowered with respect to the upper frame members of the play yard.

An example playard includes a lower frame having a collapsed position and an erected position and an upper frame having a collapsed position and an erected position. The example playard further includes a handle coupled to the lower frame, wherein movement of the handle from a generally horizontal position to a generally upright position causes the lower frame to move between the collapsed position and the erected position.

A carriage moves relative to the chassis and includes a mattress support upon which a mattress can rest. A motorized control assembly enables a user to controllably move the carriage relative to the chassis. In one embodiment, the carriage includes a pair of end panels and a rear panel extending vertically upward from the mattress support. A front panel may be slidably mounted to the chassis to thereby contain the infant in the infant bed.

Abstract: An apparatus that simulates the movement an infant might experience while being held on its mother's chest is provided. The apparatus produces controlled and rhythmic motions similar to the expansion and contraction of an adult's chest or torso during normal breathing. The apparatus, and methods of operation thereof, provide a soothing, sleep-inducing motion for the infant placed therein. The apparatus may also include structure for causing circulation of air around the apparatus so as to prevent the build-up of carbon dioxide near the infant.

Abstract: This invention relates to a folding mechanism for a playard, which comprises first and second joints substantially cylindrical in shape. The joints have arcuate plates and stops that cooperative with each other to effect the rotation between the joints, so that the changing table can be moved between an operation position and a storage position. This invention may avoid accidental collapse of the changing table, and enable the users to conveniently fold/unfold the changing table single handed.

Abstract: Bassinet assemblies and related methods are disclosed. An example bassinet assembly includes an upper frame, a first support arm and a second support arm coupled to the upper frame and a floorboard coupled or adjacent to the first support arm and the second support arm. The example bassinet assembly also includes a support liner coupled between the floorboard and the upper frame and a cover disposed over at least a portion of each of the upper frame, the support liner and the floorboard.

The legs are configured to fold back against the underside of the respective frame part in order to lie within the area of the frame part. The free end of the respective leg is connected to an adjacent bottom corner of the sack in order to facilitate the folding-out and collapsing, respectively, of the bag in connection with the erection and collapse, respectively, of the child's bed.

Abstract: An infant mattress fits safely in a crib without any gap between the mattress and the walls or bars of the crib. A ring of memory foam surrounds the supporting foam layers of the mattress and forms a snug fit with the vertical bars of the crib regardless of whether the dimensions of the particular crib or mattress vary from their standard sizes. The memory foam ring intentionally renders the infant mattress somewhat larger than the inner dimensions of the crib. The ring compresses when the mattress is placed in a crib in which opposing side bars are separated by a distance that is smaller than the mattress width. The ring is formed by pouring foam into a rectangular mold around the supporting foam layers. Where the mattress includes pocket coils on the supporting foam layers, the ring of memory foam conforms to the outer row of pocket coils.

Abstract: A “smart crib” has a frame movably supported by posts, a mattress supported on the frame, the frame being movable between a raised position and a lowered position, a protective enclosure surrounding the frame and mattress, having at least one portion movable between a raised and a lowered position. The crib also includes a first elevation mechanism for moving the frame between the lowered position and the raised position, and a second elevation mechanism for moving the enclosure portion between the raised position and the lowered position.

Abstract: A play yard frame structure includes upper and lower horizontal frame members and vertical frame members with a fabric body that extends over the exterior of the frame structure. The fabric body has fastening tabs that extend from the corners of the fabric body corresponding to the vertical frame members to be passed through openings in the foot members for fastening to the foot members on a surface that is not on the exterior of the frame structure to provide a taut panel that extends around the lower perimeter of the play yard below the lower horizontal frame members. The bassinet structure includes a height adjustment feature that enables the floor surface of the bassinet structure to be positioned selectively at multiple height positions relative to the upper horizontal frame members. In one embodiment, the fabric walls of the bassinet include secondary frame tunnels for supporting the bassinet frame.
