Abstract: The invention relates to a building component for forming floor and/or wall coverings, for example tile or parquet floorings. According to said invention, the inventive building component comprises a support layer (1) and a layer (2) which is connected thereto and consists of at least one coating element (3) forming a floor or wall surface. Said building component also comprises a device (7, 8) for connecting similar building components applied to a floor or a wall. Said support layer (1) is preferably connected to the coating element (3) by means of an intermediate layer (4) which is foamed or sprayed on the support layer (1) and on the building component.
Abstract: A bracket for joining at least two spanning members, such as a board and a supporting member, includes a generally planar unitary body having front and rear sections, and a mid-section. The front and rear sections include locking members, which interlock when two brackets are aligned to each other. The bracket allows building of a structure, such as a deck, from top, where the nail or screw heads are hidden.
Abstract: A wall system comprising a plurality of multi-section panels coupled by posts disposed between adjacent multi-section panels wherein each multi-section panel comprises at least two panel sections, each panel section comprising an inner core including a pair of panel surfaces or sides at least the major portion of which is covered by an intermediate member, an upper and lower edge each disposed within a cap and an outer surface covering at least the major portion of the intermediate members and the caps.
Abstract: An isogrid structure formed from multiple face sheets (14) and multiple stringers (16). Each face sheet (14) and each stringer (16) being an individual component. Each stringer (16) having two or more joints for attachment to the face sheets (14). The face sheets (14) formed from flat sheet material and include a pattern of openings for attachment of the joints on the stringers (16). The geometry of the openings matching the geometry of the joints on the stringers (16). The assembled unit is formed by inserting each joint on a stringer (16) through its corresponding opening in a face sheet (14) and then bonding the joint to the face sheet (14).
