  • Patent number: 4632946
Abstract: A halogen-free flameproofed thermoplastic molding material consists of a halogen-free thermoplastic resin (A) and one or more further halogen-free components. The thermoplastic resin (A) is present in an amount of from 30 to 90% by weight, based on the molding material. The latter contains, as further components, from 1 to 50% by weight of a phenol/aldehyde resin (B), from 1 to 50% by weight of a nitrogen-containing organic compound (C) and from 3 to 50% by weight of a phosphorus-containing organic compound (D), the percentages in each case being based on the molding material. The molding material is used for the production of flameproofed moldings.

  • Patent number: 4585815
Abstract: A stencil printing ink is described, comprising 0.5 to 20% by weight pigment, 5 to 30% by weight extender pigment, 0.5 to 5% by weight water-soluble polymer (the viscosity of its 10% aqueous solution is at least 40 cps), 3 to 15% by weight (calculated as solids) o/w type resin emulsion, 5 to 20% by weight polyhydric alcohol and water. This ink can produce printed images without being affected by printing conditions such as temperature and application pressure. Thus, it is suitably used in stencil printing for non-professional or unskilled people.

  • Patent number: 4463039
Abstract: A composition comprising mineral wool and polyolefin fibers is adaptable for spraying onto a ceiling or wall or the like to form a textured acoustical coating. The fibers are mixed with a binder, water and foaming agent to form a foamy composition. The composition is confined under pressure and released through a nozzle to form a steam. Compressed gas is introduced into the stream to atomize the composition.
