The filter body has a first end face and a second opposite end face. A first end disk is arranged at the first end face. A second end disk is arranged at the second end face. A support tube concentric to the longitudinal axis extends between the first and second end disks. At least one of the first and second end disks has support knobs arranged in a circular arrangement about the longitudinal axis and extending in axial direction outwardly. The support knobs, when the filter element is mounted in a housing that receives the filter element, rest against an inner cover contour of the housing and fold over in radial direction outwardly so as to be supported axially and radially on the housing.

Abstract: A filter element has a filter body with a longitudinal axis, the filter body having a first end face and a second end face opposite the first end face. A first end plate is arranged at the first end face and has an open or closed configuration. A second end plate is arranged at the second end face. A support tube is arranged concentrically to the longitudinal axis and extends between the first and second end plates. The first end plate is reinforced by a reinforcement ring. The reinforcement ring has first openings that are visible from the exterior of the reinforcement ring, wherein the first openings enable a filling level check of a filling level of a material that connects the first end plate with the first end face.

  • Patent number: 9037383
Abstract: A fuel injection amount control apparatus calculates as a proportional term a value obtained by multiplying by a proportional gain Kp a deviation DVoxslow between a downstream side target value Voxsref and an output value Voxs of a downstream side air-fuel ratio sensor disposed downstream of a catalyst. The control apparatus calculates a time integrated value SDVoxslow by integrating a value obtained by multiplying by a predetermined adjustment gain K the deviation DVoxslow, calculates a value that is commensurate with the time integrated value SDVoxslow as an integral term Ki×SDVoxslow, and obtains the integral term Ki×SDVoxslow as a sub-FB learned value KSFBg. The control apparatus sets the proportional gain Kp at a small value after the sub-FB learned value KSFBg is determined to have converged, and sets the adjustment gain K at a small value after the sub-FB learned value KSFBg is determined to have converged.

  • Patent number: 9017462
Abstract: Improvements in a filter where the filter self-expands based upon increased pressure or vacuum in the filtering stream. The expandable filter is adaptable to filtering a wide variety of media including air used in HVAC units, gases that are used to filter impurities out of gases and for industrial applications. The expandable filter to maintain a constant pressure or vacuum in the plenum or filter. The filter self-expands as the pressure or vacuum increases and pushes, pulls or draws the filter into an elongated or heightened configuration. As the filter expands new filter material is exposed that was not previously exposed for filtering. Expansion doubles, triples, or further increases the filter collection surface area. The filter does not rely upon gravity and expands based upon the increase of pressure or vacuum in the plenum the filter can be arranged in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

Abstract: A gas-liquid separator separates water from exhaust gas discharged from a fuel cell mounted in a vehicle after the fuel cell generates electricity. The gas-liquid separator includes a case that includes a water storage region. The water storage region is located at a lowermost part in the case. The exhaust gas is introduced into the case, where water is separated from the exhaust gas. After the separated water is stored in the water storage region, the water is drained to the outside from the case. The case has in it a barrier that is formed to protrude upward to restrict water from flowing out of the water storage region when the vehicle is inclined. The barrier restricts outflow of water to the outside of the water storage region when the vehicle is inclined.
