The device has a lower plate with billet pins protruding there from. The device also has an upper plate defining openings for receiving the billet pins. There is a locking mechanism for securely locking the lower plate to the upper plate so that the billet pins are locked through the openings defined by the upper plate. In use, the device is attached to the billets of a saddle where the billet pins are threaded through the holes in the billets and the device is then closed and locked. Optionally, the device has a locking mechanism such as a cable to connect the device to a fixture.Type: GrantFiled: November 1, 2006Date of Patent: February 5, 2008Inventor: William B. Wolf, III

Patent number: 7316135Abstract: The handcuff assembly includes a bow pivotally connected to a cheek plate frame assembly which includes a unitized frame that is die stamped from a metal plate and which is overmolded with a polymer overmold. The bow and arcuate cheek arms engage a wrist of a person to be restrained with an envelope of the bow being defined by a conic path with an increasing arc. The bow and cheek arms have rounded inner edge surfaces. The cheek arms have reinforcing ribs. The molded polymer covering surrounding the cheek arms provide a round on the inner edge of the cheek arms which engage a wrist. The unitized frame has interlocking tabs on folded side plates of a base frame. A flat is provided on an outer surface of the bow for lining up a point of contact with a wrist. A removable lockset assembly for locking a pawl relative to ratchet teeth on the bow and including a slideable lock bar is received in the base frame.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2004Date of Patent: January 8, 2008Assignee: Armament Systems and Procedures, Inc.Inventor: Kevin Parsons

Patent number: 7316136Abstract: The handcuff assembly includes a bow pivotally connected to a cheek plate frame assembly which includes a unitized frame that is die stamped from a single metal plate and which is overmolded with a polymer overmold. The unitized frame has interlocking tabs on folded side plates of a base frame. A removable lockset assembly for locking a pawl relative to ratchet teeth on the bow and including a slideable lock bar is received in the base frame. A key receiving structure on each side of the lockset assembly is provided for receiving a key and enabling the key to turned in one direction only for first unlocking a double-lock, which prevents movement of the bow in either direction and for secondly, completely unlocking the handcuff by moving the pawl away from the bow and against a spring mechanism. Beveled lock slots and keyways are provided in opposite flat side walls of the base frame for facilitating insertion of a handcuff key into the lockset assembly in the base frame.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2005Date of Patent: January 8, 2008Assignee: Armament Systems and Procedures, Inc.Inventor: Kevin Parsons

Patent number: 7308809Abstract: A computer lock includes a housing having a groove opening at an outer surface thereof to receive an end of a fastening cable and/or a part of a computer. An actuator is disposed in the housing and actuated by a lock assembly disposed inside the housing so as to move toward the locking groove when the lock assembly is in a locking position. The actuator has a moving seat, a penetrating pin, and a push pin. The penetrating pin extends into the locking groove and engages the end of the fastening cable and/or the part of the computer received in the locking groove when the lock assembly is in the locking position. An anchor unit is disposed in the housing and controlled by the push pin to interlock with a hole of the computer.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 2006Date of Patent: December 18, 2007Assignee: Miz Engineering, Ltd.Inventor: Francisco Lu

Patent number: 7302816Abstract: A computer security lock includes a main housing, a key-operated lock having a lock housing disposed in the main housing and having a lock bar extending movably through the lock housing, and a pair of scissors-type levers. Each lever has opposite proximal and distal end portions, and a medial part between the proximal and distal end portions. The distal end portion has a hook extending outwardly of the main housing to engage a slot in a computer housing. The medial parts of the levers are pivoted to the main housing at a common pivot point. The proximal end portions of the levers are biased to place the hooks in an unlatching position in which the hooks overlap. A cam is moved by the lock bar to extend toward and between the proximal end protions so that the hooks move away from each other. A cable holder extends around the main housing, and a security cable is connected pivotally to the cable holder.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2006Date of Patent: December 4, 2007Assignee: Miz Engineering Ltd.Inventor: Francisco Lu

Patent number: 7272962Abstract: A cable lockout assembly includes a base and a cover. The cover is rotatably fixed relative to the base for rotation about a center axis between a lock position and an unlock position. A cable is wound around the center axis between the base and the cover. The cable has a first end and a second end. The first end is fixed relative to the lockout assembly, and the second end extends from the cable lockout assembly a predetermined length. In the unlock position, the second end is detachably fixable to the cable lockout assembly. In the lock position, when the second end is fixed to the cable lockout assembly, the second end is not detachable from the cable lockout assembly.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2004Date of Patent: September 25, 2007Assignee: Brady Worldwide, Inc.Inventors: Steven J.
