A middleware system for testing true performance of an application or surrogate and optimizing among multiple datacenters based on true performance evaluates candidate datacenters prior to subcontracting jobs from the original datacenter. The middleware deploys the application to multiple candidate clouds to perform substantially similar tasks on resources that claim to be roughly equivalent in price/performance.

Utilization is a ratio of cumulative package volume to currently loaded volume of the trailer, wherein the cumulative package volume is determined from dimensional scans of packages to be loaded in the trailer and the currently loaded volume is determined by the monitor.

A next step includes detecting loading incidents related to package stacking quality during loading of the trailer using image information from the monitor. Events may be synchronized by a synchronization parameter, whose instances of occurrence may be non-contiguous in time. Examples of synchronization parameters may include a work shift, a work group, an individual's on-duty time, a logged-on period of an individual, the execution times of a process control entity, a batch run type, and a procedure or sub-unit of a batch run. Instances of occurrence of the synchronization parameter may be recorded into a process control event database. Event synchronized reports may contain at least one synchronization value based on both the instances of occurrence of the synchronization parameter as well as historical process control data. Data from various historian databases may be accessed from process control system tools and integrated into a single report.

An equivalent lost stream days score is calculated. The average quantity processed during periods that equaled or exceeded the goal is calculated. The average quantity processed during periods that were below the goal is calculated. The components of the equipment or machinery of the continuous process plant are classified and correlated to the quantity of lost opportunity. The scores are reported. The scores are also compared to historical data.

Hotel performance is analyzed by examining net revenue by channel (accounting for each channel's contribution to operating expenses and profits), net revenue in aggregate (via net revPAR and revPAR capture metrics), and the relative benefit of sales and marketing expenses by quantifying net sales and marketing efficiency. Conceptually, this differentiation parses the relevant business into a revenue performance evaluation and a return on investment evaluation, in terms that are specific to the hospitality environment. Transaction data is analyzed from multiple hotels and each hotel's costs are mapped to a common data structure to allow for hotel-to-industry comparisons.

The present disclosure describes a method and system for a plurality of people, wherein each person wears a badge. The badge transmits data collected from a plurality of sensors from the badge to a base station. The data is sent from the base station to a server, which aggregates the data from a plurality of base stations, and then analyzes and processes the data to create raw human behavior data. From the raw human behavior data and plurality of metrics is calculated, which can be displayed on a computer screen according to whichever metrics a user wishes to view.
