  • Patent number: 10929604
Abstract: The present invention is a method or system of analyzing items to create a data structure using lexicon analysis and filtering process. The present invention drives the analysis without a user being required to provide search terms and Boolean queries. Further, the present invention merges the use of unstructured data and structured data using a lexicon as a focus. Structured data is mapped to lexicon terms through one analysis process, while unstructured data is mapped to lexicon terms through a separate analysis process. In some disclosed embodiments, the mapping process uses a tuple structure of the source data to match with lexicon terms. The result is an analysis that merges the two different sets of data, which enables a user to navigate through the items using lexicons. Analysis results are displayed simultaneously in a tabular view, geospatial view, and lexicon histogram.

  • Patent number: 10922341
Abstract: Systems and methods for querying and obtaining results from an external data source that operates with a different querying language is provided. The system activates a datasource connector of the system. The system receives attributes of a query in a native language of the system, and the datasource connector formats the attributes of the query into a query language statement in a native language of the external source. The datasource connector then makes an application programming interface (API) call to the external source. The API call includes a transmission of the query language statement to the external source, which causes the external source to perform a query using the query language statement. The datasource connector receives results of the query performed at the external source, whereby the results are in a non-tabular format. The datasource connector then reformats the results into a tabular format.

  • Patent number: 10896189
Abstract: An information entropy-based metric is used to represent a degree of diversity of a search result of genealogical records. In response to a query, a data query server locates a set of multiple records that match the query. The records are classified into different record types based on the records' attributes. One or more distributions of numbers of records classified into each record type are determined. Each distribution corresponds to one of the subsets the records. For each distribution, an entropy value is determined. A cumulative entropy that corresponds to a sum of the entropy values of those distributions is then determined. The cumulative entropy may serve as the entropy-based metric of the search result. The cumulative entropy may also be normalized by an ideal cumulative entropy. The normalized metric allows the diversity of different search results to be compared across different queries that may generate different numbers of records.

  • Patent number: 10735586
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method of continuous sentiment tracking and the determination of optimized agent actions through the training of sentiment models and applying the sentiment models to new incoming interactions. The system receives conversations comprising incoming interactions and agent actions and determines customer sentiment on a micro-interaction level for each incoming interaction. Based on interaction types, the system correlates the determined sentiment with the agent action received prior to the sentiment determination to create and train sentiment models. Sentiment models include agent action recommendations for a desired sentiment outcome. Once trained, the sentiment models can be applied to new incoming interactions to provide CSRs with actions that will yield a desired sentiment outcome.

  • Patent number: 10706453
Abstract: Big data analysis methods and machine learning based models are used to provide offer recommendations to consumers that are probabilistically determined to be relevant to a given consumer. Machine learning based matching of user attributes and offer attributes is first performed to identify potentially relevant offers for a given consumer. A de-duplication process is then used to identify and eliminate any offers represented in the offer data that the consumer has already seen, has historically shown no interest in, has already accepted, that are directed to product or service types the user/consumer already owns, for which the user does not qualify, or that are otherwise deemed to be irrelevant to the consumer.

  • Patent number: 10650804
Abstract: A “Facet Recommender” creates conversational recommendations for facets of particular conversational topics, and optionally for things associated with those facets, from consumer reviews or other social media content. The Facet Recommender applies a machine-learned facet model and optional sentiment-model, to identify facets associated with spans or segments of the content and to determine neutral, positive, or negative consumer sentiment associated with those facets and, optionally, things associated with those facets. These facets are selected by the facet model from a list or set of manually defined or machine-learned facets for particular conversational topic types. The Facet Recommender then generates new conversational utterances (i.e., short neutral, positive or negative suggestions) about particular facets based on the sentiments associated with those facets. In various implementations, utterances are fit to one or more predefined conversational frameworks.
