Abstract: Techniques for automatic sort and propagation of information relating to electronic documents are presented. With regard to an electronic document, such as an incoming message, an enhanced information management component (EIMC) can analyze the document to identify a file folder associated with a subject to which the document relates. Based on interaction with or tagging of the document in a first user interface (UI) and predefined user preferences, the EIMC can propagate information relating to the subject and/or document to a second UI. The EIMC can archive the document in the identified file folder automatically or in response to as little as one UI control manipulation. The EIMC can analyze audio or video content to facilitate tagging and archiving of such content using the first UI and propagation of information relating to such content and/or related subject to a second UI.

Abstract: A first server is configured to receive one or more summarized data groups from a second server. Each summarized data group may include: information regarding a quantity of a group of records, where the group of records includes records associated with a record type and a time interval; information regarding a quantity of records associated with an indicator within the group of records; and information regarding a failure rate associated with the group of records based on the quantity of records associated with the group of records and the quantity of records associated with the indicator within the group of records. The first server is further configured to determine a threshold based on the summarized data groups and based on the failure rates associated with the summarized data groups and send an indication to the client device based on determining that the failure rate does not satisfy the threshold.

Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein provide intelligent filtering of system log messages having low utility value. In providing the filtering, the systems and methods determine the utility value of a system log message and delete the message from the system log if the message is determined to be of low utility value. As such, embodiments herein provide an system log filter, which reduces the amount of data stored in the system log based on the utility value of the message.

Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, methods and computer-readable storage media for filtering feed content in an enterprise social networking system into user-customizable feed channels. Each feed channel is defined by a criterion or criteria customized by a user. Feed content published to one or more feeds is accessed. Portions of the feed content are identified that satisfy a criterion or criteria of a feed channel. A user device is operable to process data to display a list of the feed channels. Each feed channel in the displayed list is user-selectable to cause the display of the feed channel to include only the portion of feed content satisfying the criterion or criteria of the selected feed channel.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a reputation system. The reputation system includes a scoring apparatus that provides a matrix of reputation scores for a set of items and a set of dimensions of the items in the reputation system, wherein the matrix comprises unknown values for a subset of the reputation scores. The reputation system also includes an inference apparatus that calculates a factorization of the matrix and uses the factorization to update the matrix with a set of inferred values for the set of reputation scores. Finally, the reputation system includes a ranking apparatus that uses the updated matrix to obtain a ranking of the items by one or more of the dimensions.

Annotations are isolated from document content and are associated with portions of the content of the document. Each version of a document is stored and made accessible. Any of the versions of a document, with or without a current set of annotations, may be distributed to others for further review and annotation. Annotations are protected and associated with a level of privilege or rights. Annotations are trackable over time and location and are associated with a particular annotator.

Further, the recommendation is generated based on the retrieved information. In addition, it is possible to generate a recommendation-specific query. This can be performed by generating the recommendation-specific query to access a multidimensional cube and retrieve data stored therein. Then, the recommendation can be issued based on the data retrieved from the multidimensional cube.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure are directed towards automatically inferring the significant parts of bug reports, including by querying a knowledge base built by mining information from a large number of earlier bug reports. Common phrases in the earlier bug reports are filtered to provide a subset of phrases relevant to a bug domain, which are stored in the knowledge base and mapped to an ontology model of the knowledge base. When a new bug report is received for inference/analysis, the phrases therein are tagged based upon the ontology model, and the knowledge base queried with the tagged phrases to determine problems, activities and actions that are likely related to the new bug report.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, computer-readable medium and system for scoring a text are disclosed. Themes within one or more texts may be determined and used to score each text, where an overall score for each text may indicate a respective importance and/or value of each text. The score for each text may be determined based upon a number of themes, type of themes, frequency of theme elements associated with the themes, distribution of theme elements associated with the themes, location of themes in the text, some combination thereof, etc. In this manner, the importance or value of one or more texts may be determined more accurately using information within each text with reduced reliance upon external information. Additionally, more relevant search results can be returned to a user by using internal information to perform ranking operations and/or filtering operations associated with a search.

The filter element is applied to a data source, which includes performing the set of declarative queries on the data source, thereby generating a set of query results for each of the groups. A diagram is generated that includes a set of shapes representing the set of groups, and a set of nodes nested within each of the shapes, wherein the nodes for each group are determined based on the query results for that group.

The method uses anisotropic diffusion to refine the initial page category scores using the scores of neighboring pages as a function of the probability that there is a boundary between the pages. The method may be performed iteratively.
