A suggested resource for the second worker may then be determined based on the reservation of the resource for the first worker. In response to the second worker making a reservation of the suggested resource, a reservation record indicating the reservation of the suggested resource for the second worker may then be generated.

Abstract: Embodiments generally relate to a surgical resource allocation system. Patients seeking a procedure can use the system to identify surgeons and surgical facilities. The patient can then use the system to book the procedure with a selected surgeon at a selected facility. In an example, a patient can indicate a need for a certain procedure. The patient can then provide criteria for a surgeon or facility, such as a desired location, desired time, surgeon rankings, and facility rankings. The system can then identify surgeons and facilities that match the criteria and present them for selection by the patient. The patient can then select the surgeon and facility with which the patient would like the procedure performed. With the surgeon and facility selected, the patient can then choose to book the procedure.

It further includes, based at least in part on an evaluation of the plurality of industry-wide feedback items, generating an industry-wide reputation scoring model usable to determine an expected reputation score for a typical entity in the industry based at least in part on a combination of one or more reputation score components. The post context and the user context are compared to the tag context, and it is determined whether the tag is relevant to the post and the first user based on comparing the post context and the user context to the tag context.

Abstract: Software agents collect measurements of affective response and provide them in a selective manner that maintains user privacy. In one embodiment, a sensor takes measurements of affective response of the user. A computer receives a request for an affective value indicative of an emotional response to an experience. The computer selects, from among the measurements, a certain measurement of affective response of the user that corresponds to an event in which the user had the experience. The computer then utilizes a model to calculate, based on the certain measurement, the affective value indicative of the emotional response of the user to experience. Optionally, the model is generated based on previously taken measurements of affective response of the user, taken while the user had various experiences, and indications of emotional responses the user had while said previously taken measurements were taken. The computer sends the affective value to fulfil the request.

Abstract: The present disclosure addresses an issue of inherent delay in a cloud-centric architecture in a scenario where multiple remote users join a teleoperation session with a robot such that any one of the users may take exclusive control of the robot and remotely maneuver it as the avatar of a current master. A Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) based signaling protocol with a hybrid topology for a multi-user session is provided, wherein Audio-Visual (A/V) data streaming happens over a public cloud while each master creates an on-demand peer-to-peer (P2P) channel with the robot for a desired duration of maneuvering the robot that represents the avatar of the current master. Thus, low-latency delivery of control commands results in good user experience. The provided method and system may be applied to teleoperation sessions like telemedicine sessions.

In accordance with detecting the initiation of an interaction between the user and the virtual object, synchronization of state information is suspended by the first device, where the state information is related to the interaction between the user and the virtual object. A representation of the multiuser communication session at the first device and a representation of the multiuser communication session at the second device are inconsistent in accordance with the suspended synchronization of the state information.

Abstract: A method for providing and managing non-direct URL fetching service for retrieving a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, such as for overcoming geo-blocking or a Man-In-The-Middle (MITM) attack. The non-direct fetching method may use intermediate devices, such as proxy server, Data-Center proxy server, tunnel devices, or any combination thereof. A URL request may be sent in parallel using both direct and non-direct fetching schemes, in order to verify the need for using the non-direct fetching service. Direct or non-direct fetching scheme may be selected by using a file that associates a fetching scheme to the requested URL. The selection of the fetching mechanism may use dynamically in real-time updating of a Proxy Auto-Configuration (PAC) file. As part of an accounting scheme, quotas may be applied to a cumulative received data or a time duration of using a non-direct fetching service.

The video player may be embeddable. The server may associate searchable tags with respective video segments.

Abstract: A captioned telephone service system having the text-to-speech and answer assistance functions includes a captioner, a text-to-speech system, and an answer assistance system. The captioner provides captions to a user during a phone call between the user and a peer by receiving the peer's voice from a peer device, transcribing the peer's voice into caption data, and transferring the caption data to the user device. The text-to-speech system is configured to receive text data from the user device, convert the text data into speech, and transfer the voice of the speech to the peer device via the voice path in real time. The answer assistance system is configured to receive the caption data from the captioner, analyze the caption data to identify a question, analyze the question to generate answer suggestions, and forward the answer suggestions to the user device for review, editing, and selection.

Abstract: Disclosed is a parametric feature-based 3D CAD system that allows multiple users to simultaneously edit a parametric feature-based 3D CAD model consisting of 3D parts and assemblies of those parts (3D Model). Several CAD users, each using their own computer, phone, or tablet, can edit the same 3D Model at the same time. Editing may be separate and simultaneous—there is no need for users to worry about locking, checking out, or otherwise restricting each other's access to 3D Models. Within each user's editing interface, the model may be presented in different representations, with edits to any representation applied and displayed across all representations.

Abstract: A method for preventing transmission of malicious data may include receiving transaction data including at least one packet associated with a payment transaction; extracting at least one of network layer data or transport layer data from a header of the at least one packet; determining a first probability indicating that the at least one packet is in a first class based on the at least one of the network layer data or the transport layer data using a classifier. The method may also include determining a second probability indicating that the at least one packet is in a second class based on the at least one of the network layer data or the transport layer data using the classifier; and blocking the at least one packet. Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for peer to peer discovery of remote applications are presented. A client device may discover available remote peers and remotely access applications hosted thereon. The client device may send a discovery message over a network and locate one or more peer devices with available remote access. The peer device may respond with a list including applications installed and currently executing application instances that the client device may remotely access. The peer device may dynamically generate the list based on analyzing applications installed on the peer device and application instances executing on the peer device. The client device may initiate remote access of a selected application hosted on the peer device. The peer device may execute the selected application in a remote mode by hooking input and output interfaces associated with the application, and the application may be executed in a shadow desktop environment.

The device's location is privatized by mapping it to landmarks proximate to the device's location, storing the proximate landmarks in association with the device's identifier, and discarding the received location data. Abstract: A system and method for creating a context-aware, conversational chat bot or agent in multi-party conversations where participants have different levels of security access to information and the bot operates in one or more modes depending on the business context of the multi-user collaboration virtual workspace. The methods include adding a bot, as a participant, to a virtual workspace that is a multi-user collaboration workspace, obtaining, at a bot application server, context of the virtual workspace, setting, by the bot application server, a skill set for the bot from among a plurality of skill sets. The skill set varies based on the context of the virtual workspace. The methods further include configuring, by the bot application server, the bot to perform at least one task in the virtual workspace based on the skill set.

Abstract: The invention relates to electronic indexing, and more particularly, to the indexing, in a cloud, data held in a cloud. Systems and methods of the invention index data by accessing the data in place in the cloud and breaking a job into work items and sending the work items to multiple cloud processes that can each determine whether to index data associated with the work item or to create a new work item and have a different cloud process index the data. Each cloud process is proximal to an item that it indexes. This gives the system scale as well as an internal load-balancing.
