Abstract: A continuous flow wood processing technology for extracting lignin from woody plant material and converting the delignified cellulosic residue to crude bio-oils is provided. Wood is chipped before processing starts and fed into a lignin extractor. The lignin extractor uses ethanol at high temperatures to dissolve the lignin with counter current material contactors. The ethanol containing dissolved lignin is removed from the lignin extractor, the dissolved lignin recovered, the ethanol and residual heat being recycled into the lignin extractor. The delignified cellulosic pulp is removed from the lignin extractor and subjected to a milling operation to convert the pulp into a smooth sludge for entry to a bio-convertor by a super critical water process. The product from this convertor is hydrocarbon sludge with a principal component being a kerogen. The organic fertilizer comprises oilseed extract and/or corn steep liquor in combination with whey and/or other protein supplements, which provide a natural, nitrate free, nitrogen to the fertilizer. Additionally, a method of manufacturing an organic fertilizer comprising heating an oilseed extract, dissolving whey in the heated extract, and filtering the resultant mixture for use domestically and abroad.

Abstract: A method of treating vegetative saccharides and their compounds to provide hydrolysates suitable for use as bio-stimulants, fertilizers, soil conditioners and wind soil erosion suppressants. The method comprises the step of treating the vegetative saccharides and their compounds, in series, in acid and alkali environments at temperature higher than ambient with the forced extraction of the toxins for soil and with cooking product mixing. The produced product contains humins, humic, levulinic, saccharinic and aldonic acid salts which are effective bio-stumulants and fertilizers for plant growth. Their hydroscopic properties provide (as soil conditioner) the increased water sorption of soil. Saccharinic acid salts binding properties provide forming soil particles together protecting soil against wind erosion.

Abstract: The invention is directed to manufacture of fertilizer having commercial levels of nitrogen supplemented with organic substances. The process treats organic matter with acid causing hydrolysis of organic polymers after which the mix is injected with nitrogen. The resultant sterilized and liquefied organic matter is disbursed over recycled material for the production of granules. Because the process allows for the controlled addition of acids and ammonia, desired levels of components can be achieved. The process is scalable, odor controlled and safe thereby allowing for the location of biosolid processing facilities in most any location. Further, the fertilizer of the invention provides a dual nitrogen-release profile when applied to crops. After application to soil, fertilizer of the invention releases an immediate bolus of nitrogen, similar to traditional ammonium sulfate, followed by continued slow release of nitrogen typically over a season.

Abstract: Process for recovery of industrial water, decontamination and drying of vinasse by micronizing procedure and formulation of an organic mineral fertilizer made from vinasse, and more particularly an instant industrial process related to the transformation of vinasse, that is, transformation of the residues from the ethanol production process carried out in the sugar-cane processing plants into an agricultural fertilizer whereof vinasse is initially concentrated in solids through a molecular sieve. The vinasse then concentrated is dried in a micronizing and drying mill equipment and is transformed into a dry powder that, after being properly packed, is generally used as an agricultural fertilizer.
