Operator Interface For Diagnosing Or Testing Patents (Class 714/46)
  • Patent number: 9170921
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a test for an application is created. An application is identified with functionality applied through a graphical user interface. A determination is made of expected characteristics of an application object that will be included in a version of the application once the version of the application becomes available for testing through the graphical user interface. A virtual object is created according to the expected characteristics of the application object. A step associated with the virtual object is incorporated into a test case to be used on the version of the application. The test case that includes the virtual object is executed on the version of the application when the version of the application becomes available for testing through the graphical user interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting an issue with a message flow between two or more data systems. In an embodiment, at a first time, a number of first request messages and a number of first response messages transmitted or received during a first look-back period are determined. A first ratio is calculated based on these numbers and compared to an alerting threshold. If the first ratio is less than the alerting threshold, an alert is generated. Then, at a second time, a number of second request messages and a number of second response messages transmitted or received during a second look-back period are determined. A second ratio is calculated based on these numbers and compared to a clearing threshold. Based on this comparison, it is determined whether to maintain or clear the alert.

  • Patent number: 8904237
Abstract: A framework and associated systems and methods for testing mobile communication devices are disclosed. An exemplary method includes receiving user-action data from each of a plurality of user-action-capture devices. The user-action data received from the user-action-capture devices includes data that characterizes a plurality of user actions that were performed on the user-action-capture devices. The user-action data is consolidated into generic representations of the user actions to create a superset of generally-applicable-user-action data, and each generic representation of a user action in the superset represents two or more similar user actions. The generally-applicable-user-action data is then used to test mobile communication devices that are different than the user-action-capture devices.

  • Patent number: 8898523
Abstract: A test controller interprets declarative test instructions into imperative test tasks and runs the tests using the imperative test tasks. Declarative test instructions indicate what tests are to be run and the imperative test tasks indicate how these tests are to be run. In addition, the imperative test tasks further indicate a control flow of the running of the tests.

Abstract: System and method of systems and methods of controlling an IC test equipment in response to verbal commands issued by test equipment users. A control apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a speech detection device operable to detect verbal commands and test control software configured to control operations of the test equipment. The control software is added with verbal command recognition capabilities. Program action commands defined in the test control software are associated with respective recognizable verbal commands. Upon a recognizable verbal command is detected, it is interpreted into the corresponding program action command which triggers the intended test program actions. The control apparatus may also have a gesture detection device, through which user gesture commands can be detected and interpreted into corresponding program actions commands.
