Abstract: In a method for altering a protocol in a magnetic resonance apparatus a first parameter for the protocol and a second parameter for the protocol are displayed in a user interface display presentation. In this display presentation, a range of values for the first parameter is shown, including designation of a first sub-range within the range wherein selection of a value for the first parameter does not modify the second parameter, and designation of a second sub-range wherein selection of a value for the first parameter causes modification of the second parameter. If a value for the first parameter is selected in the second sub-range, the display presentation automatically shows how the value selected for the first parameter will modify the second parameter. The user is given an option, via the user interface to confirm selection of the value for the first parameter, or to reject it.

Abstract: A vehicle audio system is provided that includes an audio receiver having a radio tuner and a random access media reader adapted for accessing audio data files such as those stored on a compact disc. Abstract: A storage medium stores a large number of data sets or files as grouped in a smaller number of data groups or directories, each data group containing a plurality of data sets. On a control panel is provided a display screen, and are also provided a plurality of group call buttons to be individually allocated for the respective data groups and a plurality of data set designating buttons to be individually allocated for the respective data sets. When the user actuates an intended one of the group call buttons, identifying names or marks of the data sets of the called group are listed in a display screen for a further selection of the intended data set from among the listed group by user's actuation of an intended one of the data set designating buttons. This enables an easy and speedy selection of a particular intended data set from among a large number of data sets.
Abstract: A defect management system and method includes a centralized database operatively connected to operator, troubleshooter, reworker and inspector workstations via a network. A defect information management application program is installed on the workstations and generates graphical user interfaces that permits the operator, troubleshooter, reworker, and inspectors to log and coordinate defect information. Modules being manufactured may exhibit symptoms of a defect. The symptom and symptom category are logged into the database by the operator. A troubleshooter reviews the logged symptom information to aid in the diagnosis and entry of defect category and defect information. The symptom and defect information are associated with various processes and process steps to accurately track defect module information. A reworker reviews the logged symptom and defect information to determine appropriate repairs. Repair action categories and repair actions are then logged by the reworker.
