Abstract: A bottle opener apparatus has an inner body collar configured to rest on a top portion of a bottle placed within the bottle opener an outer body collar slidably connected to the inner body collar, with one or more springs attached to the inner body collar and the outer body collar, the one or more springs configured to be compressed or released when the outer collar slides relative to the inner collar and one or more levers pivotably attached the outer collar, the one or more levers configured to remove a bottle cap from the bottle and eject the bottle cap into the air when the outer collar slides relative to the inner collar in an ejection movement. One or more sensors are configured to collect data when the bottle is placed within the inner collar and a transmitter is configured to transmit the collected data to an external receiver.

Abstract: A combination handle clamp, beverage bottle and can opener having a generally curved shaped body and integral attachment point to allow connection to other personal item such as a key ring. A secondary and tertiary integral curved section form a pair of loading points for fixing open a handle-trigger assembly and incorporate a gripping edge to facilitate opening a crimped or vacuum sealed bottle top. The tertiary curved section additionally functions as a second clamp position for the larger handles and also doubles as a pry mechanism to assist opening a pop-top can. The said gripping edge of the invention which contacts with said bottle top to be constructed of a durable material that won't abrade from its intended use.

By placing the movable inner cylindrical member on a bottle mouth and pushing down the cylindrical main body, a lower end of a hooking member is engaged with a lower end of the crown cap to pry the crown cap away. At the same time, the movable outer cylindrical member is moved up and a piston inside a cylinder arranged in an upper half of the cylindrical main body is moved up with the movable outer cylindrical member, so that the air in the cylinder is compressed, and a cover member is brought out in by the compressed air.

The bottle cap removing device includes an outer housing and a cap engaging assembly at least partially positioned within the outer housing. At least a portion of the outer housing includes a cylindrical shape. The decorative cover member is mounted to the bottle cap removing device with at least a portion of the bottle cap removing device exposed outside of the decorative cover member. The bottle cap removing device is configured to remove a bottle cap by movement of the cap engaging assembly relative to the outer housing.

Abstract: A cork extractor for removing a cork from a bottle includes a first gripping member and a second gripping member having flanges that engage the bottle and sliding jaw members that grip a portion of the cork extending out from the neck of the bottle. The jaws slide in a channel defined in the head portions of each of the opposing gripping members. An extractor lever is connected to the sliding jaws and includes a contact plate that is positioned over the cork to prevent the cork from ejecting from the bottle in an uncontrolled manner. The extractor lever is pivotally connected to one of the gripping members for moving the jaws. A locking mechanism fixes the position of the first and second gripping members when the handles are closed to engage the cork and bottle. A method for removing a cork from a bottle using the cork extractor is also provided.

The can opener is provided with a retainer to maintain the can lid on the opener after the lid has been removed from the can. The retainer can be a fixed or moveable retainer. The can opener can be provided with a vertically or horizontally cutting can opener mechanism to enable the opener to function as a dual purpose opener.

An operator carrying out a surgical procedure, using a conventional aseptic surgical technique, uses the instrument to pick up, manipulate, and open the package to deliver the sterile item for use during the procedure.
