A lid is integrally formed with the bit compartment to cover a corresponding elongated hole. A controlling disk is rotatably connected to a side face of the hollow cylindrical body to control pivotal movement of the bit compartments so that rotation of the controlling disk is able to pivot the bit compartments relative to the hollow cylindrical body to reveal the bits received in the holes of the bit compartments.

The device further includes at least two modules releasably connected to one another. One of the modules is formed as a reusable base module with an integrated needle drive, and the other module is a sterilized disposable module in which all components of the manual device capable of being infected by bodily fluids of a customer are integrated. The device can be constructively divided into two or three separate modules: a basic module, a disposable or hygienic module and an optional ink module. The basic module corresponds to the handle that includes the needle drive and is designed such that the hygienic module can be safely attached and connected to the integrated needle drive.

    Abstract: A driver is provided with storage for interchangeable bits in the handle portion. The handle portion comprises a generally cylindrical driver body, that is aligned along a common longitudinal axis with the shaft. Evenly spaced and outwardly opened grooves span longitudinally along the body for providing channel access to bits, such that one bit is stored in each groove. A bit cap is positioned over the heel end of the driver body and extends at least partially along the length of the driver body to form bit storage chambers. Through apertures in the closed end of the bit cap are spaced to align with the corresponding grooves in the handle body, for inserting and removing bits. A bit gate consisting of a circular disk having a single gate aperture is positioned between the heel of the driver body and the bit cap for selection of a desired bit. A bit selector knob extends longitudinally outward from the bit gate, through the back portion of the bit cap.

    Abstract: A dimpler tool comprises a handle member having a side wall, a closed bottom, and an open top defining an interior space. The dimpler tool further includes a lid threadably coupled to the handle member so as to removably cover the open top. A first portion of a shaft is embedded in the closed bottom of the handle member and a second portion of the shaft projects from the bottom and is normal thereto. A dimpler attachment is removably coupled to the second portion of the shaft and includes a tip that tapers to a point. The tip may be inserted into a hole left in a wall as a result of removal of a fastener, the hole being smoothed over by a rotational pressure applied to the dimpler tool by a user. The dimpler attachment is interchangeable with attachments having variously sized tips or with auxiliary attachments having variously configured screwdriver tips.

    Abstract: A tool handle permits selective adjustment of a permitted depth of insertion of a blade therein. The tool handle includes a central bore for reception of a blade through a front opening thereof, and an adjustable stop receivable in the bore, the position of which can be selectively fixed along a longitudinal central axis of the tool handle. So positioned, the stop blocks insertion of the blade beyond a fixed point along the bore selected by the user. As the blade is worn and reground, the stop is moved to a position closer to the front opening of the bore, shortening the degree of blade insertion permitted, and thus allowing a constant distance of blade extension to be maintained. Once adjusted, the blade is securable to the handle, to prevent undesirable movement during use of the assembled tool.

    Abstract: A holder for holding a tool, having an elongated housing, including a longitudinal hole having a cross-section corresponding to the cross-section of a mounting portion of the tool bit. The housing further has at least one radial hole running from an outside surface of the connector to the longitudinal hole. The radial hole contains a substantially spherical locking means movably arranged in the radial hole. The means cooperates with a circumferential groove in the tool bit to lock the tool bit in place when the tool bit is fully inserted into the holder. A sleeve is arranged to reciprocally slide over the first connector between two end positions. The sleeve is biased towards the tool by a first biasing means, and the sleeve has a step arranged on the inside of the sleeve, which step blocks the locking means when a tool is fully inserted into the longitudinal hole. A plunger is arranged to reciprocally slide inside the longitudinal hole, being pressed by a second biasing means towards the tool.

The bit end of the bit may have a hole extending axially therethrough and is preferably successively smaller as the end is approached. In one embodiment the bit includes a drive end of a shape differing from the bit end so that a shoulder is formed separating the two ends and providing a stop to prevent the bit from sliding into the hole in which it is engaged. In another embodiment, the drive end is circular with a square recess to accept a drive lug of an appropriate driving tool.
