With Reciprocating Presser Patents (Class 83/533)
  • Patent number: 6779441
Abstract: Disclosed is an automatic metal printer which prints a camera-photographed and computer-processed image on a surface of a hard material, such as a metal sheet, through a dot matrix printing type method wherein brightness of the printed image is expressed in accordance with density of dots in the dot matrix formed on the surface of the hard material. The automatic metal printer includes a platform which reciprocates forward and rearward in a lower portion of a body by a motor-operated first ball screw. A saddle is installed at a position above the platform so as to reciprocate to the left and right in the body by a motor-operated second ball screw. A dotter is vertically installed on the saddle so as to dot the upper surface of the hard material seated on the platform to print a desired image.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cutting mold set of metal tubes, comprising of the following: a cutting mold unit that moves in relation to a lower mold unit is installed on one side of an upper mold unit, the upper mold unit is capable of moving in relation to a lower mold unit. On the cutting mold unit is installed a first mold block with a cutting hole, and on the lower mold unit is installed a second mold block with a through hole, the cutting hole and the through hole matching and communicating with each other. With the metal tube inserted inside the through hole and the cutting hole, when the upper mold unit and the cutting mold move toward the lower mold unit, the cutting hole and the through hole move in relation to each other to create a cutting force to cut the metal tube, thereby achieving the objectives of speedy and safe operation, enhancing safety in cutting operation, and reducing waste iron scraps.

Abstract: A combination of a die retention pallet and a material cutting device for cutting material using blade-cut dies includes the device having a base, a pressing device mounted on and spaced from the base operative to exert force towards the base, and a pressing device engager operative to engage the pressing device and thereby drive the pressing device to exert force towards the base and the die retention pallet. The die retention pallet includes an open-top box having a base wall and at least two opposite side walls mounted on and extending upwards from the base wall, the die retention pallet dimensioned to fit within the material cutting device between the base and the pressing device of the material cutting device. The present invention also includes a die cover lid operative to cover a blade-cut die supported on the base wall of the die retention pallet.

  • Patent number: 6311597
Abstract: A punch and die set is provided for use in a stamping press having a punch assembly and a die assembly reciprocated by a driving mechanism. The punch and die assemblies are aligned to a common center and are structured to slidably engage one another for positive guidance of the punch and die tools without the need for other guidance by shafts, bars or the like. One of the punch assembly and die assembly can be non-fixedly carried by the drive mechanism, allowing the guidance of the engaged punch and die assemblies to define the relative positions of the tools. This arrangement eliminates any stack-up of tolerances between the assemblies and substantially reduces misalignment during stamping, including any misalignment that may be introduced by the press driving mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4154130
Abstract: In a cutting press of the type wherein an upper platen is forced toward a lower platen to press a die through a workpiece on the lower platen, a more easily operable stroke setting means is provided. In the course of low pressure actuation of the upper platen for this purpose, an operator need only deactivate a solenoid whereby a brake becomes effective to establish the cutting stroke as appropriate to the depth of a die, for subsequent high pressure cutting strokes of the press.
