  • Patent number: 4987814
Abstract: A turret assembly, having peripheral stations for mounting a glass-cutting wheel, and for mounting two different blades for cutting mat and plastic sheet, is attached to a cutting head by a bolt. With the mounting bolt extended, the turret assembly can be withdrawn from the supporting part and rotated to bring each of the cutting stations into an operative position. Cooperating detent elements ensure reliable indexing of the turret, and tightening of the mounting bolt affixes it in each selected position.

  • Patent number: 4867022
Abstract: A device for producing perforations in a flexible rack. With mechanical drive systems a "rack" is a linear element used with a rotary element whereby linear and rotary motions are displaced. The flexible rack processed by this invention consists of a tape having a cross-sectional curvature. It is thin, rigidly straight, resilient and used for "interconverting" (mutually converting or equally displacing) linear and rotary motions. A method is taught for perforating a rack along its length. Perforations are produced whil the rack is bent radially and flattened laterally corresponding to a position with which the rack will be used when "interconverting linear and rotary motions.

Abstract: A multipurpose puncher includes a pair of opposed stationary punch units positioned separately on a base, and a movable punch unit mounted slidably between the stationary punch units on the base. A press lever assembly is arranged so that it always associates with the movable punch unit and one of the stationary punch units to form a two-hole puncher while the other of the stationary punch units can be used as a single hole puncher. Furthermore, as desired, the press lever assembly can be adjusted to associate with all of the three punch units to form a three-hole puncher. When the two-hole puncher is formed, the distance between the axes of the punch members can be adjusted to be 78.5 mm. In addition, when the three-hole puncher is formed, the distance between any two adjacent punch members is preferably 108.5 mm.
