Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing cooked dishes is disclosed which includes a refrigerated isothermal cabinet in which cooked dishes are kept. The cabinet has an outlet opening for the dishes and an automatic door selectively opening and closing the opening in the cabinet. A first conveyor is located within the cabinet and has one end emerging from the outlet opening thereof. At least one microwave induction oven is positioned adjacent the conveyor for receiving cooked dishes emerging from the cabinet and reheating the cooked dishes.

Abstract: A cylindrical drum and a roller are mounted for rotation with their respective axes horizontal. The periphery of the roller is adjacent to that of the drum and has one or more recesses of constant depth. The drum and the roller are rotated at the same peripheral speed. A farinaceous paste, supplied to the periphery of the roller in a zone remote from the drum, is repeatedly taken up by the recess or recesses and is transferred to the drum in the form of portions, which may be interconnected. The paste on the drum is heated, so that it is at least partially cooked to pastry, and the pastry is removed from the drum.

Abstract: The invention relates to portable barbecue apparatus of the kind in which the grill member is adjustable in height with respect to the hearth in order to regulate the cooking heat intensity, and has for its object a barbecue of simple, robust construction providing a double adjustment of the grill, in height and transversely, with respect to the hearth. The apparatus comprises essentially a stand member and a grill and a two-way adjustable slide coupling means for positioning the grill with respect to the hearth in two component directions, the coupling comprising two pairs of retaining jaws cooperating respectively with the stand and the grill, each pair of jaws corresponding to one of the component directions.Further features of the barbecue are that it can be used with a fireplace or a wood fire, and it is possible to carry the grill with the cooked food in one hand to serve at table.

Abstract: A pancake or crepe making machine which comprises a support structure movably mounted on a griddle.The support structure includes a pair of spaced-apart end members rigidly interconnected by a plurality of laterally extending, spaced-apart members. A lower laterally extending member supports at least one dispenser for dispensing dough onto a surface of a griddle. An upper laterally extending member supports means for actuating the at least one dispenser. Means are provided for advancing the support structure along a length of a griddle on which the support structure is movably mounted. A spreader and leveller means is mounted on the support structure, the spreader and leveller means extending between the spaced apart end members. The spreader means includes a blade, a lower edge of which is spaced slightly above a surface of the griddle.

Abstract: A rotary food oven includes a heatable oven chamber, an annular trackway of helical form inside of the chamber and a rotatable reel for advancing food packages around the trackway, the trackway is formed of a disc of sheet metal having perforations for radiant and convective passage of heat and is of a simplified construction, the reel has drive rods rotatable about a circular path and about their own axis for imparting epicyclic movement of circular food packages around the trackway, and the reel and trackway are removable from the oven chamber for cleaning and service.

Abstract: Process of producing pieces of eggs which comprises mixing eggs to obtain a blend of egg whites and egg yolks, separately establishing a first flow of the blend and a second flow of steam under pressure, contacting the first and second flows to produce a burst of the blend of eggs and to initiate a preliminary cooking of the eggs, introducing the eggs resulting from the proceeding step into a container, allowing the eggs to remain in the container until cooking is completed and a solid mass of cooked eggs is obtained, and disintegrating the solid mass into small pieces.

Abstract: Grill appliance which has a central vertical column supporting at the top a cover with grill heater beneath it and disposed beneath and at a distance below the grill heater is a grill carrier around the central column. This permits ready access to the article to be grilled on the grill carrier. Provision is also made for convenient removal and attachment of the cover and heater and grill carrier as well as adjustment of the distance between the heater and carrier. Framework for disposing a removable reflecting foil is provided.

Abstract: A device for forming rolled sheet articles, such as cookies, which are rolled after heating, comprises an endless conveyor which has a surface on which the article is placed and which is continuously advanced at a predetermined speed. The article is moved substantially tangent to a periphery of a roll-up roller which is rotatably mounted alongside a portion of the conveyor and is spaced less than the width of the sheet article thickness from the conveyor. The roll-up roller is rotated at a slower speed than the movement advance of the surface and it engages the sheet article or cookie and causes the bending thereof around its surface. A roller board is arranged adjacent the roll-up roller and it includes a stopper which prevents complete rolling of the article around the roll-up roller and instead deflects it forwardly in the feed advance direction of the conveyor.

Abstract: A rotatable grill for demountably retaining food objects consisting of a first basket half and a second basket half which is similar in size to the first basket half and a pivotable bracket means for adjustably joining the ends of the bracket halves to form a closed basket at their longitudinal sides. The baskets are pivotably movable with respect to each other in the opened position. The basket halves include interengaging braces which are clamped at their ends and allow the basket halves to be pivoted with respect to each other to an open position at least 90.degree. from the closed position. The bearing shafts which hold the baskets together include threaded ends and nuts for securing the ends of the braces. The baskets also have extending wire ends which are bent at an acute angle so that when the baskets are almost closed, the extending ends mesh in a tooth-like manner.

Abstract: In a rack oven for heating food products a rotatable rack suspension frame is mounted at the top of the oven chamber. The frame and the door of the oven chamber are vertically displaceable and mechanically connected with each other such that the opening of the door causes the frame to be lowered to place the rack on the floor and the door to be lifted, the lifting being aided by the weight of the rack, while closing of the door causes the door to be lowered and the frame to be lifted to lift the rack from the floor, this lifting being aided by the weight of the door. Swingable wings of the frame are aided by the weight of the rack to ensure a firm holding of the suspended rack in a centered position.

Abstract: A frame supports a burner box incorporating heating means and having a liquid filled boiler section thereabove. The frame further has an overhead beam with a movable trolley from which a mesh cooker is suspended for immersion into the heated liquid and for removal therefrom.The apparatus is preferably mobile and is supplied with ground wheels and stabilizing means.

Abstract: A sandwich bin for fast food restaurant service. The sandwich bin provides always open front and rear service openings and air curtains for each of the service openings. The air in the air curtains is recycled through chambers at the sides of the sandwich bin to beneath the floor from where it is recirculated through ducts and over heaters to be discharged through air curtain forming nozzles. The turbulence in the sandwich bin is at a minimum, thereby providing an atmosphere in which sandwiches will remain hot and moist, without significant drying.
