  • Patent number: 11983370
Abstract: A two dimensional touch sensor panel can be thermoformed or curved by another process to a three-dimensional touch sensor panel, and the three-dimensional touch sensor panel can be laminated to a three-dimension surface having a highly curved or spherical shape. In some examples, thermoforming a two-dimensional touch sensor panel into a three-dimensional touch sensor panel can result in strain of the touch electrodes, and can result in non-uniform three-dimensional touch electrodes (distortion of the two-dimensional touch electrode pattern). The strain can be a function of the curved touch-sensitive surface and/or process related mechanical strain from thermoforming. • Patent number: 11984896
Abstract: Clock alignment circuitry may include phase detection circuitry and programmable delay circuitry to facilitate aligning a data signal with a particular state of a clock signal. For example, phase detection circuitry may be disposed at a location of interest to monitor the relative timing of the clock signal and the data signal. Based on the monitored states, the programmable delay circuitry may determine the delay to be applied to the data signal (e.g., prior to propagating through logic operations and transmission to the location of interest) such that the data signal later arrives at the location of interest at a suitable time. Effectively, a programmable delay is added to the delay encountered by the data signal during processing and transmission to the location of interest such that the total delay results in the data signal arriving at the location of interest while the clock signal is in the desired state.

Abstract: Certain embodiments disclosed herein provide attestation for a transient version of an application while reusing the attestation and the cryptographic key on which the attestation is based for the full version of the application should the user obtain the full version of the application prior to the transient version being deleted. As an example, a computing device can detect an upgrade event corresponding to replacing an application clip with the full version of the application, and associate the cryptographic key already stored in a key database with the full version of the application. • Patent number: 11983316
Abstract: In one implementation, a method is performed for selecting a UI element with eye tracking-based attention accumulators. The method includes: while a first UI element is currently selected, detecting a gaze direction directed to a second UI element; in response to detecting the gaze direction directed to the second UI element, decreasing a first attention accumulator value associated with the first UI element and increasing a second attention accumulator value associated with the second UI element; in accordance with a determination that the second attention accumulator value exceeds the first attention accumulator value, deselecting the first UI element and selecting the second UI element; and in accordance with a determination that the second attention accumulator value does not exceed the first attention accumulator value, maintaining selection of the first UI element.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a computer system displaying a user interface that includes a representation of a card, where the representation of the card includes a plurality of layers that are concurrently displayed. The plurality of layers include a first layer with a first visual asset and a second layer with a second visual asset. A first set of visual effects is applied to the first visual asset without applying the first set of visual effects to the second visual asset. A second set of visual effects, different from the first set of visual effects, is applied to the second visual asset.

  • Patent number: 11985713
Abstract: The embodiments set forth herein disclose techniques for enabling a user device to seamlessly establish a secure, high-bandwidth wireless connection with a vehicle accessory system to enable the user device to wirelessly stream user interface (UI) information to the vehicle accessory system. To implement this technique, a lower-bandwidth wireless technology (e.g., Bluetooth) is used as an initial means for establishing a Wi-Fi pairing between the user device and the vehicle accessory system. Wi-Fi parameters associated with a Wi-Fi network provided by the vehicle accessory system can be communicated to the user device using the lower-bandwidth wireless technology. A secure Wi-Fi connection can then be established between the user device and the vehicle accessory system using the provided Wi-Fi parameters. The embodiments also disclose a technique for enabling the user device to automatically reconnect with the vehicle accessory system in a seamless manner (e.g., when returning to a vehicle).

  • Patent number: 11985607
Abstract: An apparatus of user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory, where to configure the UE for dynamic transmit power adjustment, the processing circuitry is to decode baseband configuration information received from a base station. The baseband configuration information including at least a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), resource block (RB) allocation, and carrier assignment for uplink (UL) transmission and downlink (DL) reception. A communication mode is selected based on the baseband configuration information. An additional maximum power reduction (A-MPR) is determined based on the baseband configuration information and the selected communication mode. UL data is encoded for transmission to the base station via the selected communication mode and using transmit power adjusted based on the determined A-MPR. New signaling enhancements between the UE and the network (on a Uu interface) and between two UEs (on a PC5 sidelink interface) are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11985609
Abstract: Some embodiments include a processor that receive configuration information from a base station, and store based on the configuration information, a power control (PC) parameter set of a PC process that corresponds to a downlink (DL) reference signal (RS) or a beam-pair link (BPL), where the PC parameter set includes a path loss scaling factor, a command to perform a closed-loop PC process, or a path loss change parameter to be used to trigger a power headroom report (PHR). The processor can perform a PC procedure with respect to the DL RS or the BPL based on the PC parameter set, calculate a path loss estimate based on a downlink reference signal or the BPL, determine the PHR based on the path loss estimate and the path loss change parameter, calculate a power headroom value based on the PC parameter set, and transmit the PHR including the power headroom value.

Abstract: Reporting UL Tx DC sub-carrier location information may include decoding a radio resource control (RRC) message received from a base station. The RRC message may comprise a configuration for dynamically reporting uplink (UL) transmit (Tx) direct current (DC) sub-carrier location information. A change associated with at boast one previous UL Tx DC sub-carrier location may be determined to have occurred, thereby creating at least one new UL Tx DC sub-carrier location. In response to determining the change, a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC CE) may be encoded for transmission to the base station. The MAC CE may include information corresponding to the at least one new UL Tx DC sub-carrier location.
