Abstract: An engine is operated to produce exhaust emissions containing carbon nano soot therein which are injected into a solubilizing tank containing nitic acid and carbonic acid in a water solution for solubilizing the carbon nano soot as carbon nano tubes. A gas flow exiting the tank is captured such that some water and some solubilized carbon nano tubes are carried with the gas flow for subsequent delivery to a plant growing medium, either directly or by storing the water and solubilized carbon nano tubes carried with the gas flow in a tank for subsequent application. The solubilizing tank may be supported on agricultural seeding implements or sprayer implements for direct application to crop covered ground. In an irrigation system, the gas flow from the solubilizing tank is directed towards a condensing tank for subsequent application of the condensate to a plant growing medium with irrigation water.

Abstract: A plant incubator apparatus and method of growing plants comprises a sloped lower plant housing. The lower plant housing has multiple lower depressions and a lower locking periphery. An upper plant housing is coplanar to the lower plant housing, and has multiple upper depressions that receive a plant growing medium. The depressions are in communication to enable flow of liquid and air. An upper locking periphery detachably mates with the lower locking periphery to form a slot for air circulation. A light guard fits over the upper plant housing to block light from striking a plant from at least one direction. A valve assembly is at the drainage end of the lower plant housing. The valve assembly is in communication with the upper depressions of the upper plant housing to indicate liquid levels and drain excess liquid. A liquid regulation device having a timer automatically controls drainage of liquid.

Abstract: A hydrophonic planter for growing plants, comprising one or more growing cups filled with growing bed substrate, one or more dry tubes attached to a bottom side of the growing cup(s) where the dry tube(s) is mechanically coupled to a container containing nutrient solution, one or more water pumps driving a sprinkle of the nutrient solution through water pipes into the growing cup(s), a controller controlling operation of the water pump(s) and a communication component electronically coupled to the controller for communicating with one or more remote devices to transfer data between the controller and the remote device(s). Wherein the sprinkle flows over roots of one or more plants planted in the growing cup(s). A residue of the sprinkle flows through one or more holes located at the bottom side of the growing cup(s) and through the dry tube(s) to be accumulated at the bottom of the dry tube(s).

Abstract: This invention relates to a modular, scalable fogponic plant growth system for growing plants individually with roots physically and fluidly isolated from one another. A high-pressure fluid delivery system operates above 150 psi and is configured for fluidly connecting at least one spray nozzle positioned within each root enclosure to simultaneously deliver fluid to the roots of each plant within a zone of root enclosures. A passive drain system continuously removes any unabsorbed fluid, such that the roots of each and every plant are physically and fluidly isolated from one another.

Abstract: A milking system includes a milking apparatus for milking of dairy animals, and a plurality of wearing parts, inclusive of teat liners and/or milk lines and/or pulsation lines. The system further includes a computer system configured to control and/or monitor the milking apparatus, and to generate a signal which indicates that one of the wearing parts should be replaced and provides a characterization of that wearing part. The milking system further includes a 3D printer operatively connected to the computer system and configured to print the characterized part on the basis of the generated signal. Thus it is not necessary to keep an unnecessarily large stock of spare parts, but it becomes possible to directly provide the spare parts quickly, cheaply and with less chance of errors. Moreover, it is thus possible to tailor the parts, especially teat liners, to animals.
