Abstract: A paint applicator (1) comprises a housing (3) defining a hollow interior region (4) having a circumferentially extending inner arcuate surface (20). A roller (5) provided with a circumferentially extending paint transfer surface (34) is rotatably mounted in the housing (3) about a rotational axis (7). A paint container (9) releasably secured to an inlet port (35) in the housing (3) communicates the paint container (9) with a communicating recess (37) formed into the inner arcuate surface (20) of the housing (3). The communicating recess (37) communicates the paint transfer surface (34) of the roller (5) with paint from the paint container (9) through the inlet port (35). The paint transfer surface (34) of the roller (5) cooperates with the inner arcuate surface (20) of the housing (3) in order to form a seal around the periphery of the communicating recess (37) when the roller (5) is stationary in the housing (3) to seal the paint in the communicating recess (37).

Abstract: The Cummings No-Leak Entrance Feeder for Honey Bees is designed with a double lock against leakage. The first safeguard is the traditional suction vapor lock. If that fails, the sugar syrup food will pool in the feeder and stop when it rises to the level of the canning jar lid. The bees will be able to continue to feed from the pool instead of directly from the jar lid. This will prevent the loss of food which would in turn encourage robber bees to attack the hive.

Abstract: Netting suitable for use in aquaculture which has a half mesh size of 5-100 mm measured in accordance to ISO 1107:2017 and includes cord having a diameter of 0.5-8 mm, wherein the cord includes films of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, the films having a width of 0.5-10 mm. It has been found that the use of cord based on films of ultra-high molecular weight PE (UHMWPE) results in nets with improved fouling resistance compared to nets based on conventional ultra-high molecular weight gel-spun monofilament or multifilament yarn. The netting is easier to clean than netting based on conventional ultra-high molecular weight gel-spun monofilament or multifilament yarn. Not only is less frequent cleaning required due to less fouling, the cleaning steps themselves can be carried out at lower water pressure in the high-pressure cleaning apparatus. This results in less damage of the nets during cleaning and lower water consumption.

The slider device is movable between a first position and a second position, where the first position is farther apart from a center of the rotor. The interactions between the one or more magnets of the movable slider device and the plurality of the magnets of the rotor cause the rotor to brake when the movable slider device is at the second position.
