Abstract: One or more information maps are obtained by an agricultural work machine. The one or more information maps map one or more agricultural characteristic values at different geographic locations of a field. An in-situ sensor on the agricultural work machine senses an agricultural characteristic as the agricultural work machine moves through the field. A predictive map generator generates a predictive map that predicts a predictive agricultural characteristic at different locations in the field based on a relationship between the values in the one or more information maps and the agricultural characteristic sensed by the in-situ sensor. The predictive map can be output and used in automated machine control.

Abstract: Provided are a work region setting portion which sets, within a traveling region, a work region for a working vehicle to perform predetermined work; and a traveling route setting portion which sets, within the traveling region, a target traveling route to make the working vehicle travel automatically. The traveling route setting portion includes: an initial route generation portion which generates an initial route based on a trajectory formed by the working vehicle traveling in the traveling region; a work route generation portion which generates work routes arranged in a parallel arrangement direction orthogonal to an extension direction; and a connection route generation portion which generates connection routes connecting, at either side of the work region, routes adjacent in the parallel arrangement direction among the initial route and the work routes. The target traveling route including the initial route, the work routes, and the connection routes is thereby set.

Abstract: The invention provides flexible or rigid vessels in different configurations with openings at their ends and a hollow body between them for growing plants. The hollow body is filled with a growing medium to manipulate the routing of the plants roots. Such vessels allow growth of plants in a limited space without compromising the ability of the plants to grow roots of natural length; enabling resource savings by reducing amounts of the growing medium and nutrients and their dispersion to the surrounding, evaporation and water infiltration. These advantages result in a reduction of weight of the growing medium for growing roots. These vessels also protect the plant roots from pests and weeds and allow the plants to grow even in unsuitable terrain, such as rocky, salty or contaminated soil. Also, the vessels can be used to grow plants for ornamental purposes in a beautiful and aesthetic way.

Abstract: Synchronizing variables can be tuned based on a sod harvester's speed. A sod harvester's control system can include a tuning component that receives as input a current speed of the sod harvester. The tuning component can apply logic to the current speed to calculate values for synchronizing variables that are tuned for the current speed. In this way, the sod harvester can be operated with precision across a range of speeds, including at high speeds.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of wheat planting, and in particular to a uniform monoseeding and cultivation method of winter wheat in Huang-huai-hai region. The cultivation method includes seedbed finishing and precision seeding; after seedbed finishing during winter wheat seeding creates excellent seedbed conditions, precision monoseeding of winter wheat is implemented by a seeder according to precise agronomic index requirements including plant spacing, row spacing, seeding depth, and seeding rate, concurrently achieving the objectives of consistent covering depth and deep placement of bottom fertilizer. The cultivation method can make the most of light, heat, water, and fertilizer resources, and precisely optimize the plant spacing, row spacing, and seeding depth during seeding to integrate mechanized seeding management of winter wheat in Huang-huai-hai region, achieving objectives of building excellent crop community and increasing yield and efficiency.

Abstract: A turf management system includes an irrigation system for providing water to the turf at a turf site, and an irrigation evaluation system for evaluating the performance of the irrigation system. The irrigation evaluation system segments the turf site into irrigation management units, where each of the irrigation management units includes at least one sprinkler head. Qualities of the turf are measured to generate collected data points. The data points are used by the irrigation evaluation system to compute a value for the turf in each of the irrigation management units. The values can then be used to identify irrigation management units having common characteristics. The values can be used to define irrigation management zones for controlling the irrigation system.

Abstract: A plant medium composition and methodology of application of the medium as it pertains to the micropropagation of Cannabis and related plant species is described that yields two to four-fold increase in the number of biologically functional nodes from axillary shoots thereby allowing for exponential amplification of such plant species. The compositions comprise basal plant media supplemented with: (i) one or more cytokinins, and (ii) one or more gibberellins and/or brassinolides. This achievement in exponential shoot growth of these plant species represents a marked step forward in the Cannabis industry as it pertains to commercial micropropagation of a recreationally and medicinally important plant whose extracts are the subject of numerous clinical trials.
