Abstract: Linkage assemblies for harrow implements are provided that facilitate the consistent positioning of all teeth of the harrow implements in an appropriate orientation (i.e., the appropriate attack angle) during operation. Beneficially, due to the configuration of the linkage assemblies within the harrow implements, the linkage assemblies are configured to be maintained in a generally horizontal orientation during operation. As such, each of the linking elements of the linkage assemblies will have their orientations aligned, such that a horizontal plane will encompass all of the linking elements of a given harrow implement. This allows for all of the teeth of the harrow implement to be positioned at the desired and appropriate orientation.

The agricultural work system comprises an agricultural production machine having two axles, a power lifter, and a driver assistance system, and an attachment connected to the agricultural production machine using the power lifter. The driver assistance system optimizes operation of the agricultural production machine by determining an axle load on at least one of the axles. Further, actual data records coupled in time to the execution of an agricultural work process are cyclically determined by the driver assistance system to automatically adjust the power lifter. In particular, an axle load ratio currently at the axles is determined as an actual data record and, using at least one additional actual data record to be determined, the driver assistance system automatically generates instructions to actuate the power lifter while simultaneously accounting for mutually influencing optimization target variables.

Abstract: A header for an agricultural harvester including an endless belt conveyor and a flex arm disposed between upper and lower runs of the endless belt conveyor. The flex arm includes an elongate beam having an upper surface, and a roller extending above the upper surface of the elongate beam for contacting the upper run of the endless belt conveyor. The roller raises the belt conveyor above the upper surface of the elongate beam, thereby minimizing contact between the upper run of the endless belt conveyor and friction reducing bearings situated atop channel supports connected at opposite sides of the elongate beam. The resultant construction minimizes wear, heat and drag on the endless belt conveyor and the friction reducing bearings.

Abstract: A harvesting system for harvesting stalky plants is mountable on a power unit such as an agricultural combine. The harvesting system may have both an upper harvesting head that cuts off the tops of the plants and the directs seed-bearing portions of the plant to the combine's thresher, and a lower harvesting head cuts the stalks near the ground and discharges the stalks in two or more windrows. In order to increase throughput, the upper harvesting head may be raisable and lowerable relative to the combine's feeder housing. To accommodate such adjustment, a discharge conveyor of the upper harvesting head may extend at an adjustable angle relative to the feeder housing. The lower harvesting head may have draper belts arranged to discharge the stalks in two or more, and more typically three or more, laterally spaced, parallel windrows.

Abstract: A center delivery rake implement includes a tongue movably attached to a frame for movement about a vertical axis. A tongue actuator interconnects the tongue and the frame. The tongue actuator is selectively controllable to position the tongue relative to the frame such that the central tongue axis may be non-parallel relative to the central longitudinal axis of the frame, whereby a lateral position of the frame relative to the tow vehicle is adjustable during operation. An implement controller may control the tongue actuator to position the frame in a desired position based on a determined location of an existing windrow.

Abstract: The disclosure provided herein is directed to a bale accumulator that receives a bale and then using an intake conveyor transports the bale onto the bale accumulator. A push ram removes the bale from the intake conveyor and onto a flip tray that flips the bale onto an edge of the bale and onto a trough ram. The trough ram pushes the bale onto a trough that when filled with bales by the trough ram actuates a fence ram. The fence ram moves the bales onto a bed. When the bed is filled or at the selection of an operator, an unloading assembly moves the bales off the bed and onto a ground surface, which is facilitated by the bed having a dovetail assembly that lowers the bed to the ground surface. An adjustable fence allows modification to the number of bales that can fit onto the bed.

A configuration of the linkage system is adjusted for example in dependence on a lateral inclination of the combine harvester, in particular by setting the position of a pair of arms of the linkage system, so that some points within the linkage system are fixed and other points are adjustable depending on the angle of inclination (but then remain static for a constant angle of inclination).
