Bowl, Cylinder, Or Globe Patents (Class 104/68)
  • Patent number: 11911706
Abstract: An automated runway loop including a u-shaped runway, wherein the runway is configured to support an aerial projectile with the runway having a discharging end and a receiving end. The runway has a support attached to the runway and to a motor capable of extending and retracting the runway along an axis. At least one sensor is positioned along the runway and configured to provide at least one output indicative of at least one parameter of the aerial projectile. A computer is connected to the sensors and the motor, the computer controlling energization of the motor based at least in part on an indicated parameter of the aerial projectile, where the energization of the motor causes the aerial projectile to be discharged from one end of the runway and to be received at the other end of the runway.

  • Patent number: 5653171
Abstract: Disclosed are improved, unpredictably tumbleable capsule structures that are loosely internally provided with weighty rollable spherical ball, whereby such improved capsule is adapted to unpredictably compete with identical tumbleable capsule structures along downwardly-inclined ramps. Such improved tumbleable capsule structures are preferably circularly symmetrical about a directionally longitudinally extending horizontal central-axis and also about a central vertical-plane, and having uniquely ratioed capsule housing and interior rollable sphere interdimensional parameter values. Ancillarily disclosed are improved topically-textured and judicially-inclined racing ramps and ramp starting gates, all devoted toward enhancing unpredictable racing capability for a plurality of identically constructed internally-weighted tumbleable capsule structures along downwardly-extending ramps.

  • Patent number: 4251949
Abstract: A toy racing apparatus including an inclined section of track and a bowl. The track enters the bowl through an opening in the lower sidewall where its surface is tangent to the interior wall. A vehicle placed at the upper end of the track will speed down the track, enter the bowl, and progress in a spiral path upwardly inside the bowl. In a preferred embodiment, the bowl is transparent and flags are positioned to be displaced as a vehicle reaches particular heights in the bowl.
