Abstract: Pedestal assemblies configured to support first and second pavers positioned adjacently against an elevated periphery and methods of making the same are provided herein. Preferred assemblies include a cap, base, and at least two towers configured to be sandwiched between the cap and base. Kits can be sold with just cap and base alone. Preferred caps and bases can be formed in the same shape or substantially so, and are racetrack-shaped. Preferred towers include polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cylindrical tubing. The cap can advantageously include an upwardly-projecting fin used to align and separate two pavers positioned alongside an elevated periphery. A pedestal support system can include both periphery pedestals in addition to conventional pedestals positioned away from the elevated periphery.

Abstract: An article of furniture has a main body, a floor-engagement frame, a plurality of non-rolling floor-engagement members connected to the floor-engagement frame, and a plurality of rollers that are also connected to the floor-engagement frame. These rollers do not engage the floor when the article of furniture rests upon the floor in an ordinary state of usage but do engage the floor when the article of furniture is tilted at least fifteen degrees. The article can further comprise a pedestal that pivotally couples to the floor-engagement frame and that supports a table surface. A user interface can control a latch that holds the table surface perpendicular to the pedestal. Another user interface can control a latch that holds the table surface at a present vertical height when latched.

Abstract: A stabilizing arrangement supports an object on four ground engaging devices on uneven ground has an interconnection mechanism, and three or four lever parts connected to the interconnection mechanism by respective pivots each with a pivot axis. The first and third pivot axes are at an angle of up to thirty degrees from parallel to each other and within thirty degrees of perpendicular to the second pivot axis. The first lever part includes a first engaging region engaging with the second engaging region of the second lever part. The third lever part includes a second engaging region engaging with the first engaging region of the second lever part. Rotation of the first lever part drives rotation of the second lever part which drives rotation of the third lever part opposite to the first lever part, allowing warp displacement of the four ground engaging devices.

Abstract: A system for setting a table that displays a plurality of items on different elevated levels using invertible stacking members, the stacking members having two forms, plate and pedestal, that form a plurality of different configurations. A pedestal base member engages a plate member in a pedestal plate configuration and inverts into a vase configuration. The pedestal base member converts into a candle holder and selectively engages the plate member, the plate member selectively displaying a decorative item surrounding the base member, the combination forming a centerpiece. The pedestal base member engages the plate member, forming a stackable pair, stacking with other pairs, another base member or another plate member. The pedestal base members selectively stack with each other. The plate members each have an interlocking rim that locks with the plate above and the plate below, forming a compact stack on a buffet table.
