Abstract: In particular embodiments, an on-site drywall fabrication system is configured to perform on-site construction of drywall (e.g., plasterboard, wallboard, gypsum panel, sheet rock, gypsum board, etc.) over at least a portion of a framed (e.g., studded) wall (e.g., comprising one or more substantially vertical studs). In particular embodiments, the on-site drywall fabrication system is configured to utilize one or more drywall installation robots to fabricate drywall substantially directly on a framed wall. Generally speaking, the on-site drywall fabrication system may be configured to generate a substantially continuous, seamless drywall panel that extends along a particular portion of a wall. The system may, for example, utilize one or more sprayers that are configured to spray a suitable fill material between a first wall material (e.g., a first wall material applied via the first wall material spool) and a second wall material.

The backing material is then passed by a printing engine to print marking material on the backing material, and passed by a first light source to apply ultra-violet (UV) light to the marking material printed on the backing material, to partially cure the marking material. Further, the backing material is passed by a container to expose the partially cured marking material to adhesive particles to cause the adhesive particles to adhere only to the marking material. The backing material is passed by a second light source to apply additional UV light to the marking material partially cured on the backing material to fully cure the marking material. Finally, the backing material is passed by a second heater to melt the adhesive particles that are adhered to the marking material on the backing material.

The semiconductor chip is fabricated, in part, by using an etching process which utilizes an imprint template configured to be exposed to the at least one full die when the imprint template is in contact with resist which has been dispensed onto the at least one full die. Further, at least one partial die of the semiconductor chip is configured to be exposed to the imprint template without the template contacting resist dispensed onto the at least one partial die.

Abstract: A patterned array of metallic nanostructures and fabrication thereof is described. A device comprises a patterned array of metallic columns vertically extending from a substrate. Each metallic column is formed by metallically coating one of an array of non-metallic nanowires catalytically grown from the substrate upon a predetermined lateral pattern of seed points placed thereon according to a nanoimprinting process. An apparatus for fabricating a patterned array of metallic nanostructures is also described.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method of producing coated optical fiber in which polarization mode dispersion is sufficiently reduced by providing a sufficient amount of twist thereto. An upstream twisting inhibiting roller (11), a twist non-inhibiting roller (12), a twist provider (13) and a downstream twist inhibiting roller (14) are provided in this order along the path line of a coated optical fiber (1). The twist provider (13) provides the twist to the coated optical fiber (1). The upstream twist inhibiting roller (11) and the downstream twist inhibiting roller (14) respectively inhibit a rotation of the coated optical fiber (1) around the axis of the coated optical fiber (1).

The covering is a two-ply material formed from a laminated vinyl material to a fabric weave backing material. The vinyl side of the material is embossed with a dense set of small bumps. The fabric is selected to reduce any Moiré effect created by the embossing process. The embossed material is then flood coated with glitter ink. The excess glitter ink is removed with a Mayer rod assembly, and the inked material is cured, resulting in a final product having an appearance substantially similar to glass bead wall coverings.
