Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for dyeing hair fibres, in particular a method which involves coating hair fibres with a hair dye composition and directing radio frequency electromagnetic radiation to the coated hair fibres to cause heating within the coated hair fibres by dielectric loss. The present invention also relates to kits and appliances for use in connection with the method, as well as the use of radio frequency electromagnetic radiation in reducing the effective dye-treatment time for hair fibres. In one aspect, there is provided a method of dyeing hair fibres, said method comprising the steps of: i) coating one or more hair fibres with a hair dye composition; and ii) directing radio frequency electromagnetic radiation having one or more frequencies from 1 MHz to 300 MHz to the one or more coated hair fibres to cause heating within the one or more coated hair fibres by dielectric loss.

Abstract: A system, method, and device for foiling hair while using a technique similar to balayage. The system uses hair foils with at least one jagged edge, essentially functioning as a stencil for the balayage design technique. As such, the foil may not leave a straight demarcation when color is brushed off the ends of the foil onto the hair underneath from the previous foil layer, allowing the hair artist to employ a foiling process that is a combination of a paneled layering technique and a balayage technique.

Abstract: A hair painting board fosters application of coloring and other hair treatments in an efficient manner. The hair painting board has a curved body to conform to the shape a client's scalp. A wider end of the hair painting board provides the option to a hair stylist to select a variety of hair strands from various areas of the scalp and apply treatment thereto quickly and efficiently. A narrower end is useful for application of treatment at smaller areas of the scalp. One or more notches in the curved body aid in grasping and manipulating the hair painting board.

Abstract: The present invention provides a gas supply device for lightening hair color, including a separating layer and a functional unit wrapped in the separating layer, wherein the functional unit includes a metal peroxide, an activator and a catalyst, the gas supply device further wraps a composition that generates carbon dioxide, nitric oxide, and/or hydrogen. The present invention discloses a use and method of a gas supply device for lightening hair color, including supplying oxygen to the scalp and the hair, and further reacting to generate active oxygen. The present invention further discloses a method for eliminating a dye on the hair by using the gas supply device.

The composition may comprise at least one of fatty substances, surfactants, polymers with a glass transition temperature (Tg) ranging from about 40° C. to about 150° C., oxidation dye precursors, and direct dyes. The process may also include inserting the keratin fibres into a device comprising two elements that are moveable relative to each other between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the two elements may define a substantially leaktight closed space. The process may further include moving the two elements into the closed position to confine the keratin fibres in the closed space, and heating the keratin fibres to a temperature ranging from about 40° C. to about 250° C. while the keratin fibres are confined in the closed space.

When quiff is put on said dark side, it is adhered by the release layer on the dark side. Therefore, the quiff is apt to form a layer instead of a tangle, and when liquid medicine for perming and dyeing is coated on hair, each hair could be coated with said liquid medicine.
