Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for removal of buried objects. According to one embodiment of the invention, a crane with a vibrator casing driver is used to lift and suspend a large diameter steel casing over the buried object. Then the casing is driven into the ground by the vibratory driver until the casing surrounds the buried object. Then the open bottom of the casing is sealed shut by injecting grout into the ground within the casing near its bottom. When the seal has cured and hardened, the top of the casing is lifted to retrieve the casing, with the buried object inside, from the ground.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing multimedia instruction enhanced data by the use of an abstract routine generator and a translator. The abstract routine generator takes the multimedia instruction enhanced data and generates abstract routines to compile the multimedia instruction enhanced data. The output of the abstract generator is an abstract representation of the multimedia instruction enhanced data. The translator then takes the abstract representation and produces code for processing.

Abstract: A beach cleaner that is simple in configuration and light in weight and can be manufactured at a low cost. The beach cleaner is easy with regard to maintenance and inspection and can efficiently reclaim various kinds of refuse scattered on a beach. A beach cleaner includes a traveling body with ski members disposed at four corner portions of a frame having a substantially quadrangular shape. The beach cleaner is towed along a surface F of sandy soil by a traction vehicle R. A bar-like scraper is provided at a lower portion of a front portion of the traveling body and extends in a widthwise direction of the traveling body through a scraper supporting member for scraping up refuse on the sandy soil while the traveling body is operating. A refuse reclamation section is provided on the traveling body rearwardly of the bar-like scraper for collecting pieces of refuse scraped up and thrown rearwardly by the bar-like scraper onto a net member.

Abstract: A beach cleaner for recovering waste while moving in a towed state by a traction vehicle. A grating-like portion scoops up waste present in front of the beach cleaner as the beach cleaner is moved and a reticulate portion that is formed behind the grating-like portion to hold waste. As the beach cleaner is moved, waste present in front of the beach cleaner is scooped up onto the grating-like portion and is held with the reticulate portion formed behind the grating-like portion. Sand that is scooped up together with the waste is allowed to drop through the gaps in the grating-like portion.

Abstract: A rock picker for use with all terrain vehicles and lawn and garden tractors that has a generally horizontal movable frame with one or more operative wheels secured to the frame. The frame holds a rock holding receptacle that is tiltable for rock dumping. A towing tongue is mounted to the forward end of the frame. Also mounted to the frame in a position such that it can be moved from a rock pick up position to a rock unload position dumping the rocks into the rock holding receptacle is tiltable rock scoop. As the picker is towed forward, the scoop scoops up the rocks and it can be hydraulically activated to dump the rocks into the rock holding receptacle or basket. In turn, the rocks can be dumped from there once carried away from the area from which the rocks are cleared.

Abstract: A rock rake includes a succession of elongated strips. The strips may be arranged as nested bands. Each successive band has a perimeter which is larger than the previous band. The bands have an inner surface for pushing objects along the ground. A base member is attached to the nested bands. The base member includes a pole or handle or supports a pole or handle for guiding the rake. A picking member may also be attached to the base member to dislodge embedded rocks from the ground during use of the rake.

Abstract: A rock picker having a frame supported by rear support wheels and a tongue that is adapted to be attached to a tractor draw bar. A basket assembly having gathering tines and separation bars is carried by the frame. The gathering tines gather rocks and hold the rocks while allowing soil to pass between adjacent tines. The basket assembly is pivotally attached to short links. The short links are pivotally attached to the frame. Hydraulic cylinders are attached to the frame and to the basket assembly. When the basket assembly is filled with rocks, the hydraulic cylinders are extended. Initially, the short links pivot forward, lowering and extending the forward ends of the gathering tines and placing a downward force on the gathering tines. Continuing extension of the hydraulic cylinder raises the gathering tines and causes rocks to slide down the separation bars and into a rock hopper. Dirt passes between the separation bars and to the ground.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device that is mounted on the front of loaders or tractors for picking and separating rocks and other debris from soil admixtures. The device includes a forward dumping bucket which includes a grate at the bottom thereof for separating larger rocks/debris from smaller rocks/debris and soil. Rocks or debris are swept into the bucket by a reel which is either directly mounted on the side plates of the bucket, or is attached to a carriage which is pivotally attached to the bucket. A motor is provided which rotates the reel in a circle to sweep rocks or debris into the bucket. The reel is either rotated by the motor to a position allowing forward dumping of the contents of the bucket, or when the carriage is used, a hydraulic lift is utilized to pivot the carriage away from the bucket so as to permit forward dumping of the bucket.

Abstract: A battlefield debris clearing apparatus for attachment to a vehicle comprising a horizontal beam for lateral attachment to a vehicle; a plurality of baskets pivotally attached to the beam, each basket having an opening to lift and collect battlefield debris from the ground surface; and a mechanism for the rotation of the baskets about an axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the beam. Apparatus is provided for the delivery of a high velocity gas stream to the ground surface proximate the baskets. A magnetic sensor array positioned behind the baskets detects objects deeply buried below the ground surface.

Abstract: The vehicle is intended as a self-propelled utility model for beach cleaning. It has a vehicle frame which comprises at least one front and rear axle. A garbage pickup is disposed therebetween. The vehicle is to be a multi-purpose vehicle. The vehicle frame equipped with wheels consequently has a centric, rectangular opening between the front and the rear axle. The garbage pickup is adjustably mounted in this opening, namely from an operating position in which it contacts the ground to a ready position in which it is lifted from the ground. Seen in the direction of driving, a collecting receptacle for the picked up garbage is located behind the garbage pickup.

Abstract: An anti-snag plowing system suitable for clearing mines in the Middle East is disclosed. Advantageously, the plowing system has also been found to be an efficient and effective soil conditioner, making it a useful farming tool as well. The plowing system comprises several digging-knife units, or plows, and a harrow. Both are attached in tandem to a chain matrix, which is pulled with either a helicopter or tractor. The digging-knife units rotate if the digging-knives hit an immovable snag. The harrow is covered with a chain blanket, and may have magnetic or sonic wave mine triggers if the system is used for clearing mines. A symmetrical embodiment is also disclosed.

Abstract: This is an apparatus having a flat bottom and generally vertical walls for enclosing and containing plugs of turf discharged from a turf aerating machine. The apparatus includes a pan having a generally flat bottom and generally vertical side walls extending upwardly from the flat bottom. The pan is pivotally connected to the turf aerating machine by a hydraulic lifting apparatus, and the pan is located sufficiently close to the aerating machine to receive plugs of turf discharged from the turf aerating machine. The pan has a tilting apparatus connected thereto which allows the pan to be tilted to dump turf plugs collected therein when desired.

Abstract: A rock picking apparatus has a fork and reel assembly and a stone bucket. The reel assembly includes side plates supporting batts which are biased to an operative position by compression springs.
